Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge - PART II

πŸ˜‚ hahaha, oh the benefits of reorganizing @sonnydee. I’ve had the chia mask set aside too, that one since last year - my skin likes that one. Oooh, mozzarella sticks. πŸ˜‹ I haven’t had those in ages; good call by teeni! πŸ˜ƒ The nearest Sonic is about an hour away, on the way to wine country. 🍷 I’ll let you know how the masks fit.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge - PART II

Hmmm @sonnydee that makes me curious how much masks within a multipack differ. There are so few masks that are used more than 2-3 times for me. I wonder how similar our experiences areπŸ€”

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge - PART II

@eshoe @I'm hoping because I've tried other fusion masks & didn't have this issue- just a overall large mask. I plan to use the charcoal/ almond sometime this week so we shall see....οΏ½

RE: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge - PART II

Yum!!! @sonnydee ! Perfect combo

Re: RE: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge - PART II

Thanks @Weetart @ShortErica made me think of it & then teeni wanted some mozzarella sticks so plans for the night mask changed from chia to cranberry in honor of my slushie

Coffee and Chamomile for the middle of the week:

Spoiler

I wasn’t sure which wash off I would use tonight. I’ve been drawn to hydrating masks recently but noticed over the past few days that my skin has become somewhat sallow. Meaning, time to exfoliate. DE Babyfacial was an easy choice. Hoping it restores some brightness to my dull summer skin.

So excited to try the SEPHORA COLLECTION Clean Eye Mask Caffeine.🀞🏼for a good scent, and...oh wow. Coffee greets me and it lingers throughout my masking, even underneath my sheet mask. The little biocellulose (perfection) eye patches fit and adhere without a hitch. They have a light tan coloring and enough extra serum in the packet to pat-pat under my eyes before stashing it with my empties for the month. I’ve already added a few to my cart, πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’—

The CΓ©lave Chamomile mask has a pleasant tea scent, which makes up for the somewhat clumsy fit. Plenty of serum on the mask itself, keeping the light/medium weight sheet doused during the 20 minutes or so I wore it. Bonus, the coffee scent was noticeable throughout!

Once the sheet mask was removed, the family decided on an impromptu trip to view Neowise outside of the city. I left the eye gels on, could have slept in them they were so comfy. No tackiness from the face mask, and once the eye patches were off, I checked out my skin in the car mirror. Of all the Sephora masks I’ve used (including my beloved Orchid eye mask) this one takes the cake. A special treat that I look forward to using again!

And the SEPHORA COLLECTION Clean Lip Balm & Scrub Peach has a true peach-y scent. A very soothing and enjoyable balm, another love πŸ‘

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge - PART II

Ok if the scent is worth it @eshoe I'm going to have to try these eye masks

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge - PART II

Umm yes @lmaster but I don’t want to try any of the others because I’m afraid I will just be disappointed πŸ˜‚

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge - PART II

Sounds like a nice combo, @eshoe. You've got me thinking about adding the coffee eye patches to my cart now.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge - PART II

One is worth it, @quspork- it’s a great and possibly the best SC eye mask!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge - PART II

The caffeine eye mask and peach lip balm will be popular choices. A lovely plus that they smell good too. Nice to see you picked them up @eshoe.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge - PART II

Yep I’m guessing the same, @itsfi. They did a great job on both scents!

RE: Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge - PART II

Oooooh I need to try these at some point. The coffee would be a perfect commute mask @eshoe

Re: RE: Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge - PART II

Great suggestion, @Weetart! I could use one of these every morning just to wake up:)

might have to try this caffeine eye mask @eshoe

might have to try this caffeine eye mask @eshoe

Re: might have to try this caffeine eye mask @eshoe

Mmm might, maybe, yes for sure @sonnydeeπŸ˜‰

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge - PART II

@eshoe  Sounds like a great masking session! I have the caffeine eye mask in my cart and I'm even more excited to try it now! So happy you enjoyed it! β˜•οΈπŸ˜ƒ

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge - PART II

@Shosh85I think I first heard about the CS Cold Brew from you. Anytime I see/try a coffee mask, I compare it for scent, and this one is worth trying. This is one I wish came in a jar of 30 pairs😊

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge - PART II

@eshoe  The Caffe Mocha one from the fusion line also has a delicious scent!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge - PART II

C is for Cicapair Calming mask

Dr. Jart Cicapair Sheet Mask

This is a super thin cotton sheet mask that was soaking with a green watery serum and smelled like Tiger Grass Cream to me. The fit was good- a little too long at the chin and not quite wide enough by the ears. It adhered very well and was comfortable to wear the half hour I had it on. When I removed it I massaged in the remaining serum and it absorbed quickly but left behind some slight tackiness that took about 20 minutes to absorb. My face looked slightly brighter, felt refreshed, nicely hydrated and was so soft and smooth.

This is one of my most favorite Dr. Jart masks - it makes my skin feel happy. I do wish they'd reformulate it because it kinda annoys me that all those good ingredients are at the bottom (asiatic acid, asiaticoside, madecassic acid, medecassoside - and Cica, which is second to last πŸ€” Now that I have other Cica masks and products with Cica higher up in the ingredients, I don't feel so inclined to repurchase this one, but I wouldn't hesitate to use again!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge - PART II

This mask is a must have I'm my book πŸ˜‰ @Shosh85
