Hello Lovelies! As we make our resolutions and check them twice, I thought we could start a skincare version of the Weekly Challenge. Many of us wanted to use more masks, shop our stash and focus on our Skin so hopefully this thread will be an inspiration to do just that. Join us with pictures and comments down below.

Masking Spreadsheet Info

Hello every, @eshoe and I are very happy to present the BIC Masking Challenge Spreadsheet. The idea is to have an easily searchable database of masks and reviews as a reference point when we are considering our next purchase. Data integrity was important to us so instead of everyone inputing data directly into the spreadsheet where theoretically information could be deleted or edited we have the questionnaire. It should take no longer then 1-2 minutes with the option for a more detailed review (which you can copy from your post on this thread).

Remember the idea is not to replace this thread. I personally love reading, commenting and interacting with all you amazing women here and that shouldn’t change. This would just be on top of that. Hopefully the more people that partake in this, the larger database of information we’ll have for reference. It will be extra effort in the beginning but then we would only need to input any new mask we’ve tried.

Since we aren’t allowed to post links, please PM or myself for it. You will also find this information on the original post so you don’t need a database to search for this post!

 Incase you need some help to filter/search results, try this :-

Search Specific Word or Phrase —> Edit -> Find and Replace -> Search Word

Filter/Organize by Columns --> Data -> Create a Filter -> Select Options
 

There are 2 ways to edit a response: 

1) Once you have completed a survey, click on the "Edit Your Response" link on that page. Once this page is closed, the only way to make a change is to:

2) PM @Aaliaa or @eshoe to make the change directly in the response spreadsheet

Each week there will be a new Masking Challenge posted. It will range from type of mask, brand specific week or fun challenges along the way.

Choose mask, take picture (with mask on or before), place mask on face, relax and dream of the next Sephora purchase you want to make, remove mask for healthier skin.

@sonnydee i got super excited when you said it smelled like oj and then i realized you said it like expired juice. Disappointing that it dried you out too

Yeah, @Kim888 it smelled like the OJ that gets lost in the back of the fridge. It didnt make me gag or anything but I am a mom of 4...so not alot of stuff makes me gag anymore!🤣 the drying out was a bit of a shock.

@sonnydee Ipsy introduced me to this hand cream as well.  I went through a tube of the mint pretty quick and I agree, it was moisturizing, left a fantastic scent and wasn't too greasy.  Thanks for reminding me that I like it!

@sonnydee I've never seen that REN product before, but it sounds like something I should stay away from since my skin is already dry/dehydrated! I'm not sure if I've smelled rotten OJ before, but I'm guessing it's not too great! 😂

That hand cream sounds great! I think I may have a DS of it somewhere, I need to try it out soon! Also, I think I've seen the brand at TJ Maxx as well, so I'll have to keep my eye out for it! 👍😉

Ipsy introduced me to Delectable. And I've seen sets -last Christmas 2017 sold at Tjmaxx/Marshalls. Ulta online sells some stuff, I buy the body wash 😍 & pick up some of the sets of hand cream. Love them! Yea, the Ren left me scratching my head. @Shosh85

@sonnydee I just checked my stash and found that I actually have a full size Delectable in Coconut & Cream! Haha! I totally forgot about it! It smells and feels so good! I think that may be a sign that I need to shop my own stash more often! Haha! 😂

@sonnydee, your hand cream sounds delectable! 🙂 The REN mask not so much. So sorry to hear it made your skin feel dry - that makes me nervous since my skin is already dehydrated-dry to begin with. How do you like the AP Creme Fluid? It sounds like it did a nice job of putting back some moisture into your skin after the REN mask.

Yea, the Ren was baffling. Do you have that Ren product in your stash? After I used it, I went & read some of the reviews....🤔 @itsfi

My hand cream is delectable ! Perfect balance of moisturizer but not greasy & its not to thick. L'occitane is to greasy but I did buy the almond mini. For the scent. 😁 I LOVE😍 my creme fluid. It's in my top 3 rotation. I really like that Im able to use it year round, at least done here in FL. Its lightweight but delivers the moisture my oily skin needs. 2 "squirts" is plenty for my whole & neck. So far I've liked everything I've tried from AP. I need to use the essence-i know you like it alot- Ive got quite a stash but I only got 1 face & theres so many products!

@sonnydee, I am pretty sure that at some point, I had a foil and a DS of that REN 1-Minute Flash Mask, but I couldn’t find it tonight which means I may have given it away or donated it. Yikes! 😬 I hope whoever ended up with it didn’t have a bad reaction to it. 😲😳

Wow, that’s great that the Creme Fluid works so well for you! Top 3 is impressive. It’s too light on its own for me so I use it like a serum or emulsion in the winter. I wonder if it would do better for my skin in the summer when I’m more dehydrated-combination. AP products are generally good; of all the AP items I have tried so far, I love the enzyme treatment peel, the mist and the essence the most. I also like their Future Response cream for the fall/winter but that one might be too heavy for you.
