Hello Lovelies! As we make our resolutions and check them twice, I thought we could start a skincare version of the Weekly Challenge. Many of us wanted to use more masks, shop our stash and focus on our Skin so hopefully this thread will be an inspiration to do just that. Join us with pictures and comments down below.

Masking Spreadsheet Info

Hello every, @eshoe and I are very happy to present the BIC Masking Challenge Spreadsheet. The idea is to have an easily searchable database of masks and reviews as a reference point when we are considering our next purchase. Data integrity was important to us so instead of everyone inputing data directly into the spreadsheet where theoretically information could be deleted or edited we have the questionnaire. It should take no longer then 1-2 minutes with the option for a more detailed review (which you can copy from your post on this thread).

Remember the idea is not to replace this thread. I personally love reading, commenting and interacting with all you amazing women here and that shouldn’t change. This would just be on top of that. Hopefully the more people that partake in this, the larger database of information we’ll have for reference. It will be extra effort in the beginning but then we would only need to input any new mask we’ve tried.

Since we aren’t allowed to post links, please PM or myself for it. You will also find this information on the original post so you don’t need a database to search for this post!

 Incase you need some help to filter/search results, try this :-

Search Specific Word or Phrase —> Edit -> Find and Replace -> Search Word

Filter/Organize by Columns --> Data -> Create a Filter -> Select Options
 

There are 2 ways to edit a response: 

1) Once you have completed a survey, click on the "Edit Your Response" link on that page. Once this page is closed, the only way to make a change is to:

2) PM @Aaliaa or @eshoe to make the change directly in the response spreadsheet

Each week there will be a new Masking Challenge posted. It will range from type of mask, brand specific week or fun challenges along the way.

Choose mask, take picture (with mask on or before), place mask on face, relax and dream of the next Sephora purchase you want to make, remove mask for healthier skin.

@yankeefaithful Your masking here is very interesting! I’ve used the Lancer polish and like its warming effect. Am particularly interested in the eye masks, thank you for sharing now I have some research to do;)

@eshoe Just noticed, Congratulations Boss!! Way to go!! I really like the Lancer polish, but I think I got too zealous with exfoliation!! Hello Calm really helped! The eye mask is nice to have on hand, but can be slippery!! I've had them slide down my cheeks!! ☺

Awww thank you @yankeefaithful! It is clear evidence that I spend way too much time here😂 The Sephora eye masks are a little slippery too but at least they stay put;)

@yankeefaithful Such fantastic masking!! The 3 things you used sure sound like they make a great team! I haven't tried those eye masks yet, but I have heard such good things about the Shangpree brand! Glad to hear they work well for you!👍🤗

That Hello, Calm mask sure is great isn't it!? This is one I will definitely purchase the full size of sometime soon! 🙌

@Shosh85 Thanks a bunch!! I was a little cautious about the Hello Calm, but if I rinse it off, it works great for me, especially since it's been so cold. The Shangpree eye masks are good for a quick masking but, as you know, there's very few that can take care of all under eye problems,  especially mine!!😉😎

#1 in my @itsfi advent calendar journey. I'm so glad this mask has clear directions & colored protective sheets. even with them you still have to coax this sheet mask out. it is so thin. After, I got it on, it stayed on. I was able to walk/talk, multi task which I normally do when I mask. I left it on for too long😂 parts was stuck to my face. But the serum soaked in pretty good. I did use a light weight moisturizer (glow watermelon) over it. my skin felt smooth. Maybe tomorrow I'll notice the difference in oil control? Looking forward to using more Farmacy, I do have this one & others in my own stash. @itsfi just pushed me closer!😉

I'm lazy tonight (actually have some tooth pain..ouch!) But didnt mask but also didnt peak for my day #2 advent calendar mask😉 anyways....as far as oil control. Maybe?🤔 it wasn't really hot today in NE Fl so that maybe controlled my oil too. I think I'm going to have to use this & go do a sweat sess to see if it there's a difference or not. It's a good mask though!😁 @itsfi @veronika23

I have some Farmacy masks like that just a different type. I need to get to them. Hopefully you saw a difference in oil control. @sonnydee 🙂

@sonnydee, I love the thinness of these masks and the coconut gel material. I’m interested to know whether you think the mask lived up to its oil control claims. Since this is a coconut gel mask and not a charcoal mask, I’m not sure how much oil control it will be good for: I tend to find coconut gel masks are better at hydrating and brightening.

morning masking with JMsolution glow luminous flower firming mask. thiswas a very thin mask, extremely drenched in serum, and if you are a roselover like myself... the scent literally smelled of fresh roses. the fit was average, not too long. I left it on for 20 min, and when I removed it, my face was soaked with serum. too much to really press it, so I rubbed it in first then started to press it in as it started absorbing. can't tell much as far as firming, but the hydrating/ glow I had after using this was excellent!

This is something I would need to stay away from... I don't like rose/floral scents. 😄 Glad it worked out well for you!!! @lmaster

This mask seems like it would be a love for me, @lmaster! All of the different flower essences in it look amazing.

@lmaster This one sounds so great!! I love the smell of fresh roses!! I just can't do the rose scented things that are kind of perfumy. Hydrated and glowy is an awesome combo of results! Definitely sounds like a winner! 🙌

So glad you reviewed this one @lmaster! 🌹It smells so good. They make an essence / serum too that smells just like the sheet mask! Good to know about how much excess serum this holds.
