Hello Lovelies! As we make our resolutions and check them twice, I thought we could start a skincare version of the Weekly Challenge. Many of us wanted to use more masks, shop our stash and focus on our Skin so hopefully this thread will be an inspiration to do just that. Join us with pictures and comments down below.

Masking Spreadsheet Info

Hello every, @eshoe and I are very happy to present the BIC Masking Challenge Spreadsheet. The idea is to have an easily searchable database of masks and reviews as a reference point when we are considering our next purchase. Data integrity was important to us so instead of everyone inputing data directly into the spreadsheet where theoretically information could be deleted or edited we have the questionnaire. It should take no longer then 1-2 minutes with the option for a more detailed review (which you can copy from your post on this thread).

Remember the idea is not to replace this thread. I personally love reading, commenting and interacting with all you amazing women here and that shouldn’t change. This would just be on top of that. Hopefully the more people that partake in this, the larger database of information we’ll have for reference. It will be extra effort in the beginning but then we would only need to input any new mask we’ve tried.

Since we aren’t allowed to post links, please PM or myself for it. You will also find this information on the original post so you don’t need a database to search for this post!

 Incase you need some help to filter/search results, try this :-

Search Specific Word or Phrase —> Edit -> Find and Replace -> Search Word

Filter/Organize by Columns --> Data -> Create a Filter -> Select Options
 

There are 2 ways to edit a response: 

1) Once you have completed a survey, click on the "Edit Your Response" link on that page. Once this page is closed, the only way to make a change is to:

2) PM @Aaliaa or @eshoe to make the change directly in the response spreadsheet

Each week there will be a new Masking Challenge posted. It will range from type of mask, brand specific week or fun challenges along the way.

Choose mask, take picture (with mask on or before), place mask on face, relax and dream of the next Sephora purchase you want to make, remove mask for healthier skin.

I should go check out what they have at the Lush store nearby @eshoe The last time I went was about 2-3 years ago and they surely have newer products! The lip scrub sounds really nice! I still have a handmade soap and a bath bomb left! The bath bomb probably won’t fizz when I’ll throw it in my bathtub LOL 😂! What’s even worse, it’s covered with gold glitter which is a mess afterwards, my tub , once I drain it gets covered in glitter and I end up looking like C3 PO ! 🙄 The Leaders Mask must have been amazing like the other Leaders in Solution masks! I love the material they use! Hope that you had a great night out! 😉

I only check out their website once a year @keana1, but I bet they have some yummy new scents...I’m going to go check right now! Mmmm looks like a couple of LE: Sugar Plum Fairy and Cranberry Fizz. That Sugar Plum Fairy sounds good!

That lip scrub sounds amazing @eshoe! 🍯  I do like the Leaders biocellulose masks but I don’t recall the ones from that line having any scent. Hmmm... 🤔

I restock on this lip scrub every year @itsfi. My sis has given my a Lush GC every year and sadly, last year I decided to try the tooth tabs in every flavor instead 😆 Thought they would be great, but just not for me!

That’s a nice gift to receive every year @eshoe! I had to look up the tooth tabs because I’ve never heard of them. It’s an interesting idea, but I’m not sure They would be for me either.

@RebeccaBT this cleanser (which I use as a mask) never fails to give my face an extra brightening when it looks dull. Love the rich, earthy scent and it’s such a gentle exfoliant, perfect for winter skin!

Not the challenge of the week but wanted to do a lil midweek masking to brighten up my skin a bit. The rose hips mask was great and I loved the way it smelled. It had a cinnamon scent but not too strong. It applied and washed off easily. The sheet mask also smelled lovely. Can’t quite describe it but was definitely pleasant. Didn’t leave my face sticky after patting in the remaining serum which is great

Oooh I have that Mario mask, @GalPalVal17! I have only used it once and didn’t notice a cinnamon scent, now I need to go back and use it again soon. Do you apply it over your entire face, or just on certain areas? I am going to try it as more of a spot treatment next time:)

@eshoe I do have a sensitive nose and sometimes scents are just stronger for me than others. I did apply this over my whole face. I should consider trying more masks as spot treatments. I'm sure my whole face doesnt always need the same care. I have multimasked before and that is fun.
