Hello Lovelies! As we make our resolutions and check them twice, I thought we could start a skincare version of the Weekly Challenge. Many of us wanted to use more masks, shop our stash and focus on our Skin so hopefully this thread will be an inspiration to do just that. Join us with pictures and comments down below.

Masking Spreadsheet Info

Hello every, @eshoe and I are very happy to present the BIC Masking Challenge Spreadsheet. The idea is to have an easily searchable database of masks and reviews as a reference point when we are considering our next purchase. Data integrity was important to us so instead of everyone inputing data directly into the spreadsheet where theoretically information could be deleted or edited we have the questionnaire. It should take no longer then 1-2 minutes with the option for a more detailed review (which you can copy from your post on this thread).

Remember the idea is not to replace this thread. I personally love reading, commenting and interacting with all you amazing women here and that shouldn’t change. This would just be on top of that. Hopefully the more people that partake in this, the larger database of information we’ll have for reference. It will be extra effort in the beginning but then we would only need to input any new mask we’ve tried.

Since we aren’t allowed to post links, please PM or myself for it. You will also find this information on the original post so you don’t need a database to search for this post!

 Incase you need some help to filter/search results, try this :-

Search Specific Word or Phrase —> Edit -> Find and Replace -> Search Word

Filter/Organize by Columns --> Data -> Create a Filter -> Select Options
 

There are 2 ways to edit a response: 

1) Once you have completed a survey, click on the "Edit Your Response" link on that page. Once this page is closed, the only way to make a change is to:

Each week there will be a new Masking Challenge posted. It will range from type of mask, brand specific week or fun challenges along the way.

Choose mask, take picture (with mask on or before), place mask on face, relax and dream of the next Sephora purchase you want to make, remove mask for healthier skin.

Oh my gosh!! This mask was incredible! My skin looks and feels fabulous! Totally brightened and formed up my skin instantly! The mask was such a thick luxurious cotton and totally soaked well with serum so it sat very comfortably on my skin. I am kinda wary of the thicker cotton masks now, cause I love the feel of a jelly mask, but this one felt so nice and soothing! Only caveat, if you have sensitive skin beware. I definitely felt the tingly-burning sensation of the tomato acid. It didn’t bother me at all, though. I love a mask that “feels” like it’s working!!! But if you are sensitive it might bother your skin.

The packaging on that mask is super cute @KrishAtl! 🙂 I've had good results from masks with tomatoes in it and will have to check out this mask!

@itsfi the red smoothie mask sounds absolutely wonderful! I am going to check out that brand, you always find such fun new masks to try and this sounds like something my skin would like. The Korres is very nice and I agree re: the scent. It is definitely noticeable, the same way the 2-Step facial is. It absorbs well, and is one I would reach for when I need some extra overnight hydration.

@eshoe, for better or worse, I've gotten a little more adventurous when it comes to purchasing sheet masks. Everything's written in Korean? Japanese? Eh, it'll be fine! LOL! I'm pretty sure I did not have that approach at the beginning of my sheet masking journey.  🙂 

According to the website for the brand, the different masks in the set all have different textures as well - the red one is milky, which I have assumed they mean the essence; the yellow one is supposed to be more lotion like and the green one has a gel texture.

It’s just awesome to pull in new masks, @itsfi. It’s a bit like a scavenger hunt;) I found a new one tonight that I’m a little excited about but want to try another from the brand to get a better feel;) I like how the mask you tried sounds, will be looking for the set as well. Love sharing this stuff☺️

I've been diligently masking once a week with a clay mask followed by a sheet mask for the past few months, and I can see the wonders it's been doing for my skin. 🙂 It feels so soft!!! I have to remind myself to stop rubbing my hands all over my face so I don't start getting breakouts, but I just love the way my skin has been feeling and how tight my pores are looking! My skin is GLOWING!!!!

This week I used the Yes To Coconut Moisturizing Mud Mask followed by the Garnier Moisture Bomb Super Hydrating Sheet Mask and Sephora Pomegranate Eye Mask.

A clay mask followed by a hydrating sheet mask is a wonderful masking combination @sephoraaddict918! 🙂 So great to hear that you've had such fab results with it.  Sephora makes some great eye masks; I plan to pick up some during the upcoming Rouge sale.

I haven’t tried the SEPHORA COLLECTION - Eye Mask - Pomegranate - Energizingyet,  @sephoraaddict918, but so far I haven’t met a Sephora eye mask I haven’t liked! 

I’ve seen visible improvements in my skin since regularly masking, happy for you that you do, too😊

I've been using the Sephora sheet masks for a while, but I just started using the eye masks when I wanted to take my masking to the next level. And I totally agree @eshoe, those eye masks are EVERYTHING!!! I'm definitely going to pick up some more during the VIB sale!

this morning I tried blooming facemask white tea " hydration" ( thanks @sonnydee) I was impressed with how much serum was absorbed into my skin after I left it on for about 25 min. I'm definitely one that loves it when my skin soaks it up! 😂 the scent of this mask immediately made me relax. I loved how well it fit and stayed on the entire time. my skin felt refreshed and hydrated, would definitely use again!

@lmaster, this mask sounds wonderful! 🙂 I love a good hydrating mask, year round really, but especially in the cooler months. So happy to hear this one worked out so well for you!
