Hello Lovelies! As we make our resolutions and check them twice, I thought we could start a skincare version of the Weekly Challenge. Many of us wanted to use more masks, shop our stash and focus on our Skin so hopefully this thread will be an inspiration to do just that. Join us with pictures and comments down below.

Masking Spreadsheet Info

Hello every, @eshoe and I are very happy to present the BIC Masking Challenge Spreadsheet. The idea is to have an easily searchable database of masks and reviews as a reference point when we are considering our next purchase. Data integrity was important to us so instead of everyone inputing data directly into the spreadsheet where theoretically information could be deleted or edited we have the questionnaire. It should take no longer then 1-2 minutes with the option for a more detailed review (which you can copy from your post on this thread).

Remember the idea is not to replace this thread. I personally love reading, commenting and interacting with all you amazing women here and that shouldn’t change. This would just be on top of that. Hopefully the more people that partake in this, the larger database of information we’ll have for reference. It will be extra effort in the beginning but then we would only need to input any new mask we’ve tried.

Since we aren’t allowed to post links, please PM or myself for it. You will also find this information on the original post so you don’t need a database to search for this post!

 Incase you need some help to filter/search results, try this :-

Search Specific Word or Phrase —> Edit -> Find and Replace -> Search Word

Filter/Organize by Columns --> Data -> Create a Filter -> Select Options
 

There are 2 ways to edit a response: 

1) Once you have completed a survey, click on the "Edit Your Response" link on that page. Once this page is closed, the only way to make a change is to:

Each week there will be a new Masking Challenge posted. It will range from type of mask, brand specific week or fun challenges along the way.

Choose mask, take picture (with mask on or before), place mask on face, relax and dream of the next Sephora purchase you want to make, remove mask for healthier skin.

Yessssss I am down to about 40 or so masks and getting a bit nervous😆, @itsfi! I’ve got the peach slices and neutrogena in one cart, waiting for a sale, my Facetory sub just processed but hasn’t shipped (hoping a good one will come out of the August bunch!), and I’ve been perusing the other one you mentioned mask sheets I think? They had some great deals! I am headed to Leaders now, 👏🏼 Thank you!!!

@itsfi I’m actually subscribed to their emails too! I’ve only tried a few Leaders masks and really loved them! (I think at least one of them was a Labotica mask) Can’t wait to try out more! 🤗

In addition to The Creme Shop, are there other brands you like a lot @Shosh85?

@itsfi Hmmmm, so far besides The Cream Shop, I really like TCFS, Farmacy and BioBelle. Some brands I’m really starting to like, but haven’t tried a lot of are, Goodal, Leaders and Missha/A’PIEU. Im sure there’s something I’m missing.

I’d really love to know your favorites too!?

There are so many @Shosh85! Leaders, Too Cool for School, Tosowoong and Missha are always reliable faves for me, as are Pyunkang Yul, Innisfree and A’Pieu.  I’ve been trying out Aritaum recently and am loving the Laneige sheet masks.  In terms of Taiwanese brands, L’Herboflore and My Beauty Diary offer a great selection of solid sheet masks. SK-II, Kose, and Hada Labo are Japanese brands that have good skincare products, including sheet masks. The Sephora Collection has a number of lovely face sheet masks as well.

THE SAEM  Zoo Park Moisturizing Panda Bamboo Face Mask

 The fit was ok, just a little too long and not quite wide enough. The ears had to be folded over or else the mask would just keep falling down. I had this on for maybe only 5 minutes and I started feeling some tingling. After about 10 minutes the tingling started to become more intense and I started to feel a slight burning feeling. At around 15 minutes into the mask it became a little uncomfortable so I took it off and my face was slightly pink where the mask was. Instead of adding moisturizer right away, I decided to wait and see what it’d do. About 10 to 15 minutes later the burning feeling went away and my face had returned back to its pale white color, haha! My face was sooo soft and smooth and had such a nice glow! It didn’t dry me out at all but also didn’t moisturize like it was supposed to. This mask surprisingly gave some good results, but I wouldn’t use it again – the burning feeling isn’t something I enjoy very much, haha! 😬

@SchylarR I feel like the photos are half the fun! Of course I don’t take pictures of every single plain ol’ cotton mask – I try to take photos of the fun and interesting ones! 😉

No pain, no gain, right, @Shosh85? Sorry it was not a very relaxing mask, to say the least. I don't think I would use something like caused that much irritation again, either, despite the results. The pics were fun, though 🙂

@SchylarR I feel ya girl! Someone once described their bubble mask as “intense angry bubbles that got into and stung their eyes” – so naturally I told myself I had to try this one, haha! 😂

Exactly,👌😂 @eshoe!! This mask was fun and had good results, but definitely don’t want to feel that burning sensation again!
