Hello Lovelies! As we make our resolutions and check them twice, I thought we could start a skincare version of the Weekly Challenge. Many of us wanted to use more masks, shop our stash and focus on our Skin so hopefully this thread will be an inspiration to do just that. Join us with pictures and comments down below.

Masking Spreadsheet Info

Hello every, @eshoe and I are very happy to present the BIC Masking Challenge Spreadsheet. The idea is to have an easily searchable database of masks and reviews as a reference point when we are considering our next purchase. Data integrity was important to us so instead of everyone inputing data directly into the spreadsheet where theoretically information could be deleted or edited we have the questionnaire. It should take no longer then 1-2 minutes with the option for a more detailed review (which you can copy from your post on this thread).

Remember the idea is not to replace this thread. I personally love reading, commenting and interacting with all you amazing women here and that shouldn’t change. This would just be on top of that. Hopefully the more people that partake in this, the larger database of information we’ll have for reference. It will be extra effort in the beginning but then we would only need to input any new mask we’ve tried.

Since we aren’t allowed to post links, please PM or myself for it. You will also find this information on the original post so you don’t need a database to search for this post!

 Incase you need some help to filter/search results, try this :-

Search Specific Word or Phrase —> Edit -> Find and Replace -> Search Word

Filter/Organize by Columns --> Data -> Create a Filter -> Select Options
 

There are 2 ways to edit a response: 

1) Once you have completed a survey, click on the "Edit Your Response" link on that page. Once this page is closed, the only way to make a change is to:

Each week there will be a new Masking Challenge posted. It will range from type of mask, brand specific week or fun challenges along the way.

Choose mask, take picture (with mask on or before), place mask on face, relax and dream of the next Sephora purchase you want to make, remove mask for healthier skin.

@eshoe Great masking!! The Ren is a favorite and the Origins mask is one I have, but haven't tried yet. Will definitely pull it out for summer masking! Thanks for reviews!!😊

Nice masking duo @eshoe!  Glad to hear that the REN worked out well for your skin - it's a favorite of many posters here, including me.  I agree with you that it does a great job at prepping the skin for the next mask or treatment. 

I've never tried an Origins sheet mask but I have wondered about them since they came out.  I'm intrigued by any sheet masks that leaves your skin DE Sukari baby soft;  I may have to check tihs one out - was there a strong scent to the mask?

@itsfi, it just occurred to me that the Ren mask could have something to do with it, as well. I am going to use it again this week with a different face mask to compare. I still can’t get over how soft my skin is now.

@itsfi, there was only a very faint fruity scent, and it’s didn’t really linger. I am also so, so pleased with how my skin feels this morning. This was a pretty incredible mask!

Finally a bubble mask that I like...no love!!!! This is not a sheet mask, but is called a clay mask, but feels more like the consistency of jelly when going on. It has a great cooling-Tingling sensation that is pleasant and not overbearing. The bubbling does not include a soundtrack, begins immediately, but the bubbles grow gradually and do not “take over”. After 15 minutes of the bubbles I rubbed the bubbles down into my skin and then the mask felt like clay consistency. After letting the clay mask effect dry down, I rinsed off to gorgeous glowing, clean skin!! This mask is a new favorite love! In case anyone is curious, this was in the June Beauteque Box. I am totally loving my Korean skincare boxes, FYI!!

@KrishAtl, that looks like a fun mask! I have only tried 1 bubbling product (belif’s cleanser) and love how it feels on my skin. Sounds like a nice combo😊

I feel like I haven’t masked in forever but only skipped one day and it wasn’t even yesterday lol tonight I got into my routine - started by cleansing with fab cleanser and my new (this month) Clarisonic acne brush🤞🏼I used exfolikate for a deep clean/scrub and then used origins clear improvement - really I’m maintaining hydration in my face but it’s super oily this time of year. I followed up with PTR spot treatment and patchology lip masks and TCFS coconut oil eye masks. I will post on TCFS later since I’m still wearing them but I do like the coverage range! PTR is a product I have not used as consistently lately but want to go back into routine bc I did enjoy the results! And still enjoying the patchology lip masks I think I mastered the positioning and find them comfortable to wear for a while and the serum jus keeps soaking up! #madeitthroughhumpday💕

They felt great too, my under eye is pretty hydrated this morning nothing crazy but not dry! They were comfortable to wear - I have no complaints but I think I still prefer PTR cloud eye gels over all that I’ve tried! I feel the most difference in my lips from patchology lip gels! Still super plump this morning!

Great results from both the eye and lip masks @SAlyFitz!  There's a lot of love for PTR eye gel masks on this thread, whether its cucumber ones or the cloud ones.  I have some similar products that I need to dig out and use; they're not PTR but I'll see about giving them a try - they look comfortable and sound like they would be a good source of hydration to the undereye area! 🙂

@keana1, between your review and @Luvstravel's review of the OH mask, I can't wait for mine to arrive.  It was a good point perk.  Clay masks that do not dry down completely and harden come in handy!  🙂  Nice mask combo!

@itsfi You should enjoy the OH mask! There is enough in the tube for at least 4 sessions since it spreads easily !
