Hello Lovelies! As we make our resolutions and check them twice, I thought we could start a skincare version of the Weekly Challenge. Many of us wanted to use more masks, shop our stash and focus on our Skin so hopefully this thread will be an inspiration to do just that. Join us with pictures and comments down below.

Masking Spreadsheet Info

Hello every, @eshoe and I are very happy to present the BIC Masking Challenge Spreadsheet. The idea is to have an easily searchable database of masks and reviews as a reference point when we are considering our next purchase. Data integrity was important to us so instead of everyone inputing data directly into the spreadsheet where theoretically information could be deleted or edited we have the questionnaire. It should take no longer then 1-2 minutes with the option for a more detailed review (which you can copy from your post on this thread).

Remember the idea is not to replace this thread. I personally love reading, commenting and interacting with all you amazing women here and that shouldn’t change. This would just be on top of that. Hopefully the more people that partake in this, the larger database of information we’ll have for reference. It will be extra effort in the beginning but then we would only need to input any new mask we’ve tried.

Since we aren’t allowed to post links, please PM or myself for it. You will also find this information on the original post so you don’t need a database to search for this post!

 Incase you need some help to filter/search results, try this :-

Search Specific Word or Phrase —> Edit -> Find and Replace -> Search Word

Filter/Organize by Columns --> Data -> Create a Filter -> Select Options
 

There are 2 ways to edit a response: 

1) Once you have completed a survey, click on the "Edit Your Response" link on that page. Once this page is closed, the only way to make a change is to:

2) PM @Aaliaa or @eshoe to make the change directly in the response spreadsheet

Each week there will be a new Masking Challenge posted. It will range from type of mask, brand specific week or fun challenges along the way.

Choose mask, take picture (with mask on or before), place mask on face, relax and dream of the next Sephora purchase you want to make, remove mask for healthier skin.

I updated the original post with my thoughts @itsfi. Overall it was a no for me, my skin felt dry and tight after using it and I think its because of the high alcohol content.

Thank you for the update.  Sorry to hear that the mask didn't work for you @Aaliaa.  You raise a good point about where an ingredient falls vis-a-vis one another on the ingredients list - too bad hyaluronic acid is further down the list.  Hopefully you have better results with other masks from The Creme Shop.

Tried a new "wake me up!" mask this morning - Creme Shop Caffeine Eye Mask.

This eye mask is way different than any other eye mask i've used in the past. I would call this a "top of the face mask" instead of eye mask; it's like the mask was just cut in half above the nose as it covered my forehead and cheekbones, too. There is a cute mask pattern (the same as on the packaging) on the sheet mask.

This mask had the same chocolate coffee scent as the Cafe Latte sheet mask only it seemed muuuuuch stronger. Even after letting the mask dry for 30 min, the scent lingered. I guess it's not a bad thing - just something to be aware of.

After taking the mask off my eyes felt much more awake and my skin looked noticeably brighter! It makes sense that the "eye mask" covers the cheek area too, since that part of your face is puffy and sad when it's tired. I only had one of these masks but i'll definitely repurchase when i make my next Creme Shop order.

Thanks for the review, @scott1201! This one is my favorite!! It’s funny how everyone’s noses work a little different- I thought the Caffe Mocha one smelled like chocolate+coffee and the eye mask smelled like just chocolate 🍫 😉 but I agree that the scent on the eye mask is a little stronger- but because it’s chocolate, it doesn’t bother me at all, haha! 👃🍫☕️

I kinda like that covers more than the just the eyes too- It’s almost a full face mask! 🤗

Hey ladies, I need some (more) help. I’m coming to the end of my sheet mask stash and am looking to place an order soon for the new round of the masking challenge. I would love to know what some of your ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE (non-Sephora) sheet masks are. I’ll probably use a website like RoseRoseShop and order a bunch so all recommendations very much appreciated. I'm generally pretty flexible just don't like alcohol in my masks.

I had an ongoing list of sheet masks people loved but I seem to have deleted it unintentionally this morning 🙄.

I've done a lot of search among sites (at least that ship to Canada) and this has been the best. It has the widest variety and cheapest price even once you take into account the pretty expensive shipping. I ordered from then back in February and was pleasantly surprised. It took about 10 days, so half of the 3 week estimate, but that doesn't really bother me. @keana1

Hey @Aaliaa. My recommendations are drug store finds. I enjoy YES sheet masks the most. Neutrogena are my next favorites. Soap and Glory has a few eye and face sheet masks that look fun. I purchased them, but haven't used yet. Burts Bees also has sheet masks now too. Keep us posted on your buys!
