Hello Lovelies! As we make our resolutions and check them twice, I thought we could start a skincare version of the Weekly Challenge. Many of us wanted to use more masks, shop our stash and focus on our Skin so hopefully this thread will be an inspiration to do just that. Join us with pictures and comments down below.

Masking Spreadsheet Info

Hello every, @eshoe and I are very happy to present the BIC Masking Challenge Spreadsheet. The idea is to have an easily searchable database of masks and reviews as a reference point when we are considering our next purchase. Data integrity was important to us so instead of everyone inputing data directly into the spreadsheet where theoretically information could be deleted or edited we have the questionnaire. It should take no longer then 1-2 minutes with the option for a more detailed review (which you can copy from your post on this thread).

Remember the idea is not to replace this thread. I personally love reading, commenting and interacting with all you amazing women here and that shouldn’t change. This would just be on top of that. Hopefully the more people that partake in this, the larger database of information we’ll have for reference. It will be extra effort in the beginning but then we would only need to input any new mask we’ve tried.

Since we aren’t allowed to post links, please PM or myself for it. You will also find this information on the original post so you don’t need a database to search for this post!

 Incase you need some help to filter/search results, try this :-

Search Specific Word or Phrase —> Edit -> Find and Replace -> Search Word

Filter/Organize by Columns --> Data -> Create a Filter -> Select Options
 

There are 2 ways to edit a response: 

1) Once you have completed a survey, click on the "Edit Your Response" link on that page. Once this page is closed, the only way to make a change is to:

2) PM @Aaliaa or @eshoe to make the change directly in the response spreadsheet

Each week there will be a new Masking Challenge posted. It will range from type of mask, brand specific week or fun challenges along the way.

Choose mask, take picture (with mask on or before), place mask on face, relax and dream of the next Sephora purchase you want to make, remove mask for healthier skin.

@Aaliaa -- I love the new Protini cream!  I used it today with only C-Firma and my face felt smooth and soft.  I've mixed it with Lala too and it definitely gives a nice smooth, soft texture.  Definitely recommend.  🙂

I have a small sample of the Protini and I think I may have the Framboos glycolic acid serum in a gift set - I'll have to try out this combination.  I would never have thought about combining these two products to create a mask - thank you!  It sounds fabulous!

I think the weekly challenge aspect is for inspiration purposes only and is meant to encourage participation and keep things interesting. By all means participate using what works for your skin!

My go-to at home treatment right now- Ole Henrickson Power Peel (an amazing skin care booster at a great price!), followed by either the SK-II sheet mask, or the Glam Glow Bubble Sheet Mask. I swear it's as good as a professional facial! I sometimes will use the Laniege Water Mask or tamanu oil to sleep in afterward. The next morning, before I get ready, I use Shiseido's Benefiance WrinkleResist24 Pure Retinol Express Smoothing Eye Mask. I swear it takes off years and makes me feel super fresh 🙂

The SK-II sheet mask is on my list to use this weekend and now I'm even more excited to use it!

Did some traveling and decided my hotel room would be a great place to relax and do some masking. Did a Bite Agave lip mask and Sephora collection hair, foot, hand, and eye masks. Nice way to destress from traveling.

Oh wow you are definitely a dedicated masker! Good on you to take the time to relax while traveling to give your skin some love. Sheet masks are so convenient for that purpose! @Lazybeautybeast

@Lazybeautybeast Nice! I love to pick those up when I'm traveling. What did you think of the hydrogel mask? That's the only Sephora one I haven't tried yet.

Thanks @fieldsofclover. I like it. Sometimes I stick them in the fridge when I'm really exhausted or feel a migraine coming on. I usually add them as add-ons to my cart when I have a few bucks to hit a GWP.

SHEW! It has been a week. I know it’s not a lip/hand/foot mask, but this morning I used a Sephora collection eye mask. I looooove these eye masks - they don’t slip or fall off your face while sitting upright.
