Hello Lovelies! As we make our resolutions and check them twice, I thought we could start a skincare version of the Weekly Challenge. Many of us wanted to use more masks, shop our stash and focus on our Skin so hopefully this thread will be an inspiration to do just that. Join us with pictures and comments down below.

Masking Spreadsheet Info

Hello every, @eshoe and I are very happy to present the BIC Masking Challenge Spreadsheet. The idea is to have an easily searchable database of masks and reviews as a reference point when we are considering our next purchase. Data integrity was important to us so instead of everyone inputing data directly into the spreadsheet where theoretically information could be deleted or edited we have the questionnaire. It should take no longer then 1-2 minutes with the option for a more detailed review (which you can copy from your post on this thread).

Remember the idea is not to replace this thread. I personally love reading, commenting and interacting with all you amazing women here and that shouldn’t change. This would just be on top of that. Hopefully the more people that partake in this, the larger database of information we’ll have for reference. It will be extra effort in the beginning but then we would only need to input any new mask we’ve tried.

Since we aren’t allowed to post links, please PM or myself for it. You will also find this information on the original post so you don’t need a database to search for this post!

 Incase you need some help to filter/search results, try this :-

Search Specific Word or Phrase —> Edit -> Find and Replace -> Search Word

Filter/Organize by Columns --> Data -> Create a Filter -> Select Options
 

There are 2 ways to edit a response: 

1) Once you have completed a survey, click on the "Edit Your Response" link on that page. Once this page is closed, the only way to make a change is to:

2) PM @Aaliaa or @eshoe to make the change directly in the response spreadsheet

Each week there will be a new Masking Challenge posted. It will range from type of mask, brand specific week or fun challenges along the way.

Choose mask, take picture (with mask on or before), place mask on face, relax and dream of the next Sephora purchase you want to make, remove mask for healthier skin.

@heartsmyface I’m glad I’m not alone in mask hoarding. Between spur of the moment purchases and having a sheet mask subscription and a k beauty subscription, I am swimming in masks.

Oh I hear ya!  There are just so many different masks to try (and since I use them everyday I have a quasi excuse!)  Finding fun masks is kind of a goal of mine when I travel and when I travel I try to stock up on things I won’t be able to easily acquire until my next trip and therein lies my hoarding...excuse. @nikki

I am so amazed by your sheet mask collection @heartsmyface!  Hearing your thoughts on the different sheet masks in your collection is another great thing from this challenge.  Yes!!!  Excited to hear about the different masks during the year.

What Pokemon masks are a thing? @heartsmyface where do I find them?

Tony Moly released a Pokemon collection a while back.  I think you can still find them on Amazon:) @moxiepancakes. They’re not my favorite.  They’re that mask i’ll use if my skin is feeling perfectly fine already and I just want to go through my me time mask ritual and don’t expect results.

Great sheet mask collection @HeyMelissaa! 

@juliehnguyen recommended the Dr. Jart+ V7 toning mask to me and I used it before a work event - it was fabulous!  Gave my skin a nice glow!

I see the Leaders Snail Therapy sheet mask in your collection - have you tried it before? I love Leaders masks in general and thought about picking that one up (not that I need to add another sheet mask to my ever growing stash) but there were enough reviews and comments that said it was just 'meh' to make me think I should look into it more before purchasing. If you have used it before, I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts on it.

As @Anonymous mentioned, the V7 Toning Mask is absolutely AH-MAZING @HeyMelissaa! The mask leaves my face feeling baby soft and radiant. It does leave a slightly sticky feeling when I remove the mask but once I pat in the excess serum and let it absorb into my skin for about 10 minutes, the sticky feeling went away. Also, my face is prone to redness and this mask really helps calm it down for a few days! Most mask I use reduce my redness for about a day and then my skin will start becoming red again. I hope your skin will love the mask just as much as I do when you get a chance to try it out @HeyMelissaa!

@Anonymous Glad to hear you liked the Dr Jart+ one. I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m excited to now 😉 I haven’t tried the Leaders snail mask yet either. I’ll use it for one of the upcoming challenges and let you know how it goes!

No pictures, but I did the glam glow super mud as a spot treatment last night and then used the fizzy pout mud and balm pout mud and my lips and skin were looking fab today! Forgot how great of a spot treatment glamglow, so thank Sephora for this thread

Finished out the week with bright mud and dual cleanse, which is sort of mask like as it sits on your skin for 10 minutes before becoming a cleanser. Love multi tasking products.

@nikki I concur, the dualcleanse mud definitely counts as a mask. 🙌
