Looking for advice on natural skincare and my current daily routine

I'm new to this group and am interested in hearing advice on my routine. I'd also like to learn more about natural / healthy beauty routines (I know sulfate-free matters, but what other chemical / ingredients should be avoided?).

I'm in my mid-20s and my skin type is normal / balanced with slight sensitivity. I'm also a fair-skinned and living in sunny CA so sun protection is pretty important for me.

My current routine is fairly lightweight and low-budget, in part because I have no idea what's worth investing in. Details below.

Mornings: - Wash face with water and towel dry - Apply Aveeno Active Naturals Smart Essentials Daily Nourishing Moisturizer (30 SPF) - If I'm exercising outside, I'll add Neutrogena sunscreen (70 SPF)

Evenings: - Wash face with water - Cleanse with Neutrogena Naturals Purifying face cleanser - Deep Cleanse with Alba Botanica Facial Cleanser Lotion Pore Purifying Pineapple Enzyme

Really excited to be a new member of this community! If you have any suggestions based on my routine or on "natural" and healthy skincare, I'd love to hear it. Thanks 🙂

Thanks @aesthetician15 ! Do you mean use one product line for everything (cleanser, toner, moisturizer) or just make sure that certain product lines are complimentary? How do you check for that? Thanks again for your help - I really appreciate it!

Re: Looking for advice on natural skincare and my current daily routine

I use this website http://www.cosdna.com to check the ingredients of all the products I use. It tells how acne prone and irritating the ingredients actually are. Neutrogena actually broke me out and I never knew why until I found out this website. I currently use the double cleanse method. I use the banila co zero balm oil cleanser and then follow up with the cosrx salicylic cleanser (i have acne ) and then a thayers rose witch hazel for toner. Its done wonders for my skin the past 2 weeks since i switched to this routine. And I've tried tons of products for my acne prone, sensitive skin.
