I have dry lips too @lillyroseviolet Tapping my lips with water (not saliva) before applying my lip balms etc.. is really helpful. I use this before lipsticks too (and with a a bit of water first) MAC Cosmetics Prep + Prime Lip Colour-Free Lipstick Base Primer for Under Lipstick 0.05 oz/ 1.7 g
