Lightening dark skin

Does anyone have an recommendations for any products that help lighten or get rid of dark lines on the back of the neck?

Before doing any skin lightening/brightening, always exfoliate so the ingredients can penetrate the skin. Then of course SPF because the UVB/UVA rays can cancel out any effect of those ingredients.

Coconut oil is said to have skin lightening effects, which I found to be true. I use it as deodorant and it has faded the dark lines in my armpit. I've since taken to rubbing it on my knees and elbows too. It's not overnight or super drastic--I just like coconut oil and it's been a nice side effect!

@Jessss17 that sounds like a hormonal problem. Are your armpits darker too? Do your neck and armpits have a velvet feel? If so, I would recommend that you see your primary doctor and ask for an endocrinology referral. This can be a sign of high insulin levels in the body due to resistance.

That can be a sign of insulin insensitivity. You should see a doctor about that.
