Is bare minerals worth it?

Hi beauties! So I have dry, sensitive acne prone skin. My acne is not too bad. I just get little bumps that don’t turn into white heads and stay below the surface. I use L’Oréal infallible powder cuz I love the matte look. And maybeline concealer and bb cream. I have proscription meds for my acne but want to try something that will naturally help. So tell me, What’s so great about bare minerals. If you have changed to it what did you use before and was it worth the change? How is this different than drug store mineral makeup? Ps- thinking of using the press powder foundation ($30)

Re: Is bare minerals worth it?

@ToobaQ  I totally agree with @PenelopeBT!! I've used  bareMinerals Original Loose Talc-Free Powder Mineral Foundation SPF 15 Fair Ivory 02  for years! It's the only foundation I found that worked for my oily/combo skin and didn't break me out. I know you said you had dry, acne prone skin,  but I know several people who had great results with this foundation who had dry skin. It looks so natural and is buildable, from light to medium coverage. I think you would love this product!!😊

Re: Is bare minerals worth it?

Hi @ToobaQ,

I've been using the bareMinerals Original Loose Talc-Free Powder Mineral Foundation SPF 15 Fair Ivory 02  for years and absolutely love it. Why? It's a hundred percent natural, mineral based product with only 5 ingredients, including a non chemical sunscreen. This is the only foundation I could sleep in and not breakout the next morning (still shouldn't sleep in makeup, but just saying). They also have a wide shade range (30 shades), so you're bound to find the perfect shade. I recommend getting color matched in store and getting a sample to take home so you can see how it wears throughout the day. Also, BareMinerals foundations are all $30.00 and under, so they're at an affordable price point. I hope this helps. Happy holidays!

Stay Gorgeous,

Penelope

Re: Is bare minerals worth it?

Hi @ToobaQ,

I recommend checking out BAREMINERALS - Blemish Rescue Skin-Clearing Loose Powder Foundation – For Acne Prone Skin.  This powder foundation is full-coverage but still lightweight.  I think this foundation will work well for you as it contains  0.5 percent salicylic acid to address acne breakouts fast, oat protein to soothe and nourish skin, and Moisture Mineral Complex to help keep skin hydrated.

I hope this helps!

Best,

Steph
