Is Glow Recipe Worth The Hype

I Am a new person to sephora and my daughters want it so bad but I don't know if is a good quality product so could you help me with that

Re: Is Glow Recipe Worth The Hype

How fun and exciting @RatRay Welcome! 🩷

I agree with a lot of statements below, that young skin dosen't need the actives that are in some of Glow Recipes products.

Before purchasing you might want to do a little research on your own or even talking to a trusted skin care professional like your local dermatologist, before you decide what's right for you and your family. Actives are definitely in the category of research required.

For example. Using toners like Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow PHA + BHA Pore-Tight Toner 5.07 oz/ 150 mL could be too strong for yong skin, but it also has actives that can make skin more susceptible to damage from the sun. So before using (and for two weeks after you stop using this product) you need to be wearing sunscreen everyday, rain or shine.

I would get them one of the moistures it’s refillable and good for young skin.

Re: Is Glow Recipe Worth The Hype

@RatRay @At that age they don’t need exile since skincare. My kids use Cerave and Aveeno moisturizer and sunscreen.

Re: Is Glow Recipe Worth The Hype

You don't know how old her kids are though. I love Glow Recipe, especially the toner because I can see an actual difference with my pores (and they're awful). Its also a thing that you need to be looking for though because different people have different skin types and you have to be careful because products WILL break you out. If you are looking for products for young skin I would do Bubble or soft face washes for starters.

Re: Is Glow Recipe Worth The Hype

Hype doesn't always mean good @RatRay , but most brands have a "hero" product, which is one that is viral/hyped.  It'll perform well for several people, but not all.  For glow recipe Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops Serum are that product.  I like it, but don't love it, but it also depends on needs, preferences and skin type.  It's a decent product in that you can use it a couple of ways and gives complexion a nice glow.

A set like that is great because you get to try a couple of products and it's usually valued above the retail price.  Also, getting it during the sale is a good move 👍🏽👍🏽
