How to smooth skin texture when you have rosacea?

Does anyone have any recommendations for products that help smooth your skin and diminish redness? My cheeks in particular are always red and never seem to be smooth no matter what product I use! I've tried toners and cleansers but can't seem to find a solution. Help!

Hey! I also have rosacea/redness. I'm in the same boat since harsh cleansers and exfoliation causes dry flaky patches on my cheeks and more redness 😞
The best thing I found that helps with smoothness/calming is to moisturize well, and to be gentle! Our skin is inflamed and needs healing, so good, nourishing moisture is important. I use Cerave PM facial lotion in the day, and I use a good, thick, moisture mask at night. Usually Egyptian Magic, which has royal jelly and bee propolis in it. Great, natural, anti-inflammatory ingredients. It's really thick but I swear the next morning my skin is glowing and baby-soft!

I wish I could help you but I never found anything that helped. I would suggest a gentle cleanser and moisturizer. Unfortunately, the only thing that helped my texture is the prescription medication, Finacea. I tried scrubbing the texture away and just ended up with a redder face.
