How do I calm down redeness due using Retinol?

I just started using the 3 part Peter Thomas Roth Retinol system; serum, eye cream, face & neck cream. I skin is a little red and irritated. what can I use to treat the redness and irritation?

@alishaee1 like others have said cut it down to a few days a week but use sunscreen daily to protect your skin.

@alishaee1  I would definitely slow down and only use it a couple times a week until your skin adjusts. Glossier After Baume Moisture Barrier Recovery Cream 1.7 oz / 50 mL is really good for barrier repair.

If you are using the retinol serum everyday, then maybe switch to using it every other day. If you still continue to experience irritation, then that serum may just not be right for your skin. To actually treat the redness, look for something calming that will help support your skin barrier - The Ordinary Soothing & Barrier Support Serum 1 oz / 30 ml is a product that I have had good results with in the past!
