Help for my skin

Hey guys! My skin is absolutely awful, and I was wondering what kind of products would help fix it/cover it. My skin is red, oily, dry, and full of blackheads. I am looking for a moisturizer, face wash, masks, or anything that can help. I am also looking for a primer/ founspdation.

RE: Help for my skin

Definitely drink lots of water. Your skin sounds like mine used to be. I started with a clairsonic and purity by philosophy. Sticking with gentle cleansers will help get your skin to balance out. Use a moisturizer. I'd go with a gel moisturizer like belief aqua bomb. There are other options too. I'd also alternate between hydrating and clearing masks. I find my dry areas also have blackheads so I don't like to do multi masking. I really like hydrating masks you can leave on while sleeping. I'd give your skin a few weeks to adjust to the changes and then add in a serum. At night I use Peter Thomas Roth's pro strength 3% retinoid plus. It's not too harsh on my sensitive skin. I haven't found one I love for during the day yet. I'm currently trying one by caudalie.

RE: Help for my skin

Skincare is an investment of time and money. Start by examining your diet and making sure you are drinking a minimum of 64 oz of water daily. Incorporate more fruit and veggies (I make fresh juices or smoothies). Also, I invested in a clarisonic cleansing brush-it work wonders for clarifying the skin without harsh chemicals. Depending on how my skin feels , my activities for that day, and what makeup I wear determines my cleansing regiment as I alternate products, but the brands Peter Thomas Roth, Ole Henrickson, Sunday Riley, and Lancôme always work for me. Some of them I buy from Sephora, some I find at Marshalls/TJ MAXX. I wash, serum, moisturize 2/day; mask 1/week, Ole Henrickson Lemon Peel 1/month (I started out using it 2x's per week) The folks in Sephora are normally helpful with picking out and explaining the different products based upon your skincare needs. Most of the recommendations worked for me.

Maybe using some Aloe vera gel can be helpful. I use it every night.

Sometimes getting food sensitivity tested and eliminating foods you're sensitive to as well as drinking plenty of water and eating a good amount of veggies (and cutting or sugar as much as possible!) will do wonders for your skin. My skin always looks better when I'm eating healthy, drinking lots of water, getting enough sleep, and *trying* to minimize stress 😊

RE: Help for my skin

I suggest double cleansing with an oil cleanser and then a liquidfoaming cleanser to ensure you're cleaning out your pores, also a reallygood exfoliator just to gently buff your skin to remove anything thatmay be clogging your pores. As for a mask apply a clay based mask to the areas where you get oily and a hydrating mask to your dry areas, multi masking is a great way to deal with your problem areas at once (:theKorean brands that Sephora features are amazing for the skin I suggest to start there. And sheet mask they are a drink of water for your skin and an instant repair.

Re: RE: Help for my skin

I agree - it sounds odd - but completely effective!

Re: RE: Help for my skin

What brands besides Sephora d you recommend. Except for their eye makeup remover , I'm not a fan of their brand

RE: Help for my skin

Peter Thomas Roth Mattifying Gel is a game changer as a primer and oil reducer. What are you currently using? Sounds like you have combination and sensitive skin?
