HOLY GRAIL Moisturizers?

HEY guys! I’m sure there are tons of threads like this but I need a new moisturizer and I am curious as to which brands everyone can’t live without. I’ve been using FAB Coconut Smoothie Priming Moisturizer and it’s been OK, but I can’t stand the smell and the packaging is awful. Skin type is normal to dry, oily T-zone in the summer 🙂

I use Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask as a night moisturizer. It’s incredibly hydrating. I’m currently using Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base during the day. It’s hydrating, nourishing, and doubles as a primer.

If you love FAB so far - the ultra repair cream is wonderful. I tired the mango & the grapefruit version so far & really loved them...they smell great too. I didn't buy them at sephora so I am not sure they have them but I think they have the basic version...not sure about the smell of that though. 12 Dollar for the travel size, which comes in a tube so the packaging is good, & the cream lasts me a while.

it’s perfect in the winter when I am extra dry and perfect in the summer when I’m more oily!

I’ve been using drunk elephant protini and it’s been great and I have dry combination skin. I’ve always had the issue of hydrating moisturizers being to heavy and making my skin feel greasy and then break out. This stuff has worked great and it’s not super heavy, my dry patches went away and my oily spots are balanced.

I love the Belif Aqua Bomb moisturizer. Also the First Aid Beauty Ultra repair cream. I have dry skin and it really does hydrate my skin. I also use the oat and cannabis dry facial oil from First Aid Beauty just before mu moisturizer. My skin is so much smoother thanks to these products especially since it’s winter. Hope that helps!

@NitroGirl304 I love JOSIE MARAN - 100 percent Pure Argan Oil Light . I use this when my face is still wet after washing.  PERRICONE MD - H2 Elemental Energy Hydrating Cloud Cream has helped me in the past w dry winters.  Folks live aqua bomb, but it was not comfortable to me.

@NitroGirl304, my skin is dehydrated-combo, but in the wintertime, it leans a lot more dry. I've used a drop of The Ordinary 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil 1 oz/ 30 mL with the BELIF - The True Cream Moisturizing Bomb for the last couple of winters and have found this duo to help keep the dryness and dry patches away! 🙂 If I need even more hydration, I'll layer a hydrating serum like Drunk Elephant B-Hydra™ Intensive Hydration Serum with Hyaluronic Acid 1.69 oz/ 50 mL underneath my moisturizer.

@NitroGirl304 My two new faves are  Drunk Elephant Lala Retro™ Nourishing Whipped Refillable Moisturizer 1.69 oz/ 50 mL and  The Ordinary 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil 1 oz/ 30 mL

I also use Cetaphil Night Moisturizer from their redness relieving line, and CeraVe PM.  I have a whole hierarchy given time of year, retinol/retinoid usage, etc 🙂

@NitroGirl304  My AM and PM moisturizer is Youth To The People Superfood Air-Whip Lightweight Face Moisturizer with Hyaluronic Acid 2 oz / 59 mL . I also use it as my eye cream, sometimes layered with a facial oil since my undereyes are my face’s driest zone. For reference, my skin is mostly-dry combo. My oily zone is just on and around my nose. 

In cold weather, I sometimes add a thin layer of facial oil (1-2 drops rubbed between my hands and pressed into my skin) beneath my cream moisturizer. My favorite daytime oils are e.l.f. Nourishing Facial Oil and HERBIVORE - Emerald CBD + Adaptogens Deep Moisture Glow Oil. On some of my stay-at-home days, I just use a facial oil as my moisturizer and skip the YTTP Superfood cream. 

I also use serums that contain hyaluronic acid, my skin’s best friend, for a moisture boost. My morning vitamin C serum ( Farmacy Very Cherry Bright 15% Clean Vitamin C Serum with Acerola Cherry 1.0 oz/ 30 mL ) is loaded with HA, and at night I use THE ORDINARY - Buffet for peptides + HA. These serums attract and hold water to my skin.
