HELP SKINCARE NEWBIE

Hi I’m 17 years old and want to get into skin care but I have no idea where to start I don’t have many breakouts or acne in general and my

skin tends to be more dry rather than oily especially in the winter

Re: HELP SKINCARE NEWBIE

At 17, finding the right skincare products can be challenging, especially when dealing with sensitive skin that’s prone to breakouts and irritation. It’s important to choose gentle, effective products that address your specific needs without causing further issues. DermalMD offers a range of skincare solutions designed for sensitive skin, with options targeting acne, uneven skin tone, and dullness. Their products include soothing ingredients to help clear breakouts, brighten your complexion, and promote a healthy glow, all while being gentle on young, sensitive skin. With DermalMD, you can choose the right products for your skin without worrying about irritation.

Re: HELP SKINCARE NEWBIE

@bellabaeeee @I would start simple

Face wash, toner if needed, moisturizer and sunscreen. (Sephora employee here).

Some brands to try are Innis Free, the Inkey list and The Ordinary.

Re: HELP SKINCARE NEWBIE

@bellabaeeee do you know what kinds of skincare you're trying to incorporate?  TBH, I would start by finding a good cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen.  Do you already have any of those categories that you currently like/use?

Re: HELP SKINCARE NEWBIE

A nice starter routine is face wash, moisturizer and SPF for the the day time  @bellabaeeee

Look for products suited to your skin type, which might be dry from the sounds of it.

I like 🩷

Glow Recipe Avocado Ceramide Moisture Barrier Cleanser 5 oz / 150 mL

LANEIGE Water Sleeping Mask with Niacinamide & Squalane 2.3 oz/ 70 mL
