Good Nude Lipstick for Brown Girl?

I am MAC NW 40, Georgio Armani 9 and I have looking for a good nude lip stain that suits my complexion and does not wash me out. I love the texture of Sephora Lip Stain and I am curious about their new shades of lip stains. I also wish to try Charlotte Tilbury and Huda Beauty Power Bullets but have never. Wanted to know if they are long-staying? Since we can't try in Sephora Stores anymore, any suggestions would be loved. 

I recently tried the popular shade Marvelous Mauve in Lip Stains and it washed me out. I prefer brownish nude over peachish nude but any would be good 🙂  This is me in the picture just for shade reference.

Hi so first of all let's start out with your undertone your skin tone appears to be very neutral-warm and I see a very minute amount of rosiness in your complexion. You typically do not want to go with nude lipsticks that have a cool undertone as they will wash you out and make you appear to look very washed out grey and sallow. A cool undertone would be colors such as taupes, mauves, purples, pinks, and greige colors, in most cool tones the purple or pink undertone is very pronounced. You want to go with nude lipsticks that have a warmer or neutral undertone. Nudes with warm undertones will have brown, red, yellow, orange, golden, and peachy undertones. For Women of Color, a brown lip liner is a must because nudes in any color regardless of the undertone tend to wash out women of color. Here is a breakdown of products you can look into purchasing

You can also mix warm and cool shades to create a neutral nude. When you're trying to achieve the perfect nude lip it's a lot of mixing and using a brown lip liner like chestnut and cork I highly recommend both will help you to look less washed out. Unfortunately, there are not many nude lipsticks available for women of color you can go to KKW Beauty for a wider shade range of nudes. Don't be afraid of peaches you can always tone them down with a warm pinky beige or a brownish pink gloss. Hope this helps

Thank you so much 🙂 You definitely have taken a lot of time to pen it down and I truly appreciate the effort. Thank you also for analyzing my skin tone - somehow I always end up picking wrong foundation shades as either its too olive or too golden for me. I guess with the right idea of undertones that I have now, I probably will look for some with warm with slight pink undertones. I am also gonna try all the nude lip shades that you have mentioned and here are my few recommendations from my end, as I have been trying and testing from the online orders that I got from Sephora. I tried Copper Blush in Sephora Liquid Lipstick which is a nice shade of nude with a pinkish tinge, but not that great to have kept it. I find nudes in Sephora Liquid Lipstick to have less pigment for some reason.
