Firming cream for teen?

So I went to sephora yesterday looking to buy myself a night cream. I asked around, seeing if there were any that wouldn’t harm my skin. Some lady came up to me and recommended the Sephora firming sleeping cream. I told her that I was 14 and if this was ok for my skin type and age. She said yes, saying that this was meant for teenagers and how it was vegan. I decided to buy it.  My come saw what I bought and yelled at me saying that firming cream if for much older people, which I didn’t know . I tried to explain to her that the lady who workI d at Sephora told me it was meant for teenagers. I just what to know if having a firming night cream is going to harm my skin in any wa. And if so, should I go return it?

It won't harm your skin. It just looks like a moisturizer with some fruit extracts in it. As long as it's not irritation you, you can keep using it. 

It says AHA on it, which is an exfoliating acid. Anyone can use AHA and if you have acne it might help with that as well.
