Eye cream for aging/dry/irritated eyes

Hi everyone, 

I need help finding an eye cream. 
so far I’ve always used products by Vichy and la Roche posay, also got a clean one from Truly lifestyle, but recently all of them are irritating my under eyes. Either burning when I put it on, making my under eyes red and puffy by the next morning (usually they’re sunken with dark circles) or leaving little red bumps. Then I stick to Vaseline to calm it down, but my eyes will still be so dry and almost flaky underneath. Which then makes my makeup go on terribly. 

im really not sure what the problem is and what type of cream I need, if there’s something I’m allergic to? But I’m looking for a cream that works for sensitive skin, helps with dark circles, fine lines and wrinkles, and hydration. 

I just bought the farmacy honey eye cream - as it was recommended at Sephora, but after reading the reviews with every other one warning about burning, I’m not really sure I want to try it!! 
If anyone has suggestions, and has gone through something similar and knows of something that works!!! Please please let me know. I’m stating to think I need proper creams by Estée Lauder or Clarins, but also not sure if these are worth the price!
