Extremely dry skin after chemical peel

Hello! I used an M-61 PowerGlow® Exfoliating Facial Peel wipe 6 days ago, and the skin on my forehead, tip of nose, all around my mouth, and chin are extremely dry/peeling/flaking. How should I take care of my skin while it's still "healing" (I hope that's what's happening)? Can I exfoliate? What products would be good to use/avoid? Thanks in advance!

Spoiler

Hi @priyakpatel I would not use any physical or chemical exfoliants, it would likely worsen the damage to your skin barrier and cause additional dryness/irritation.

I'd add a calming toner like Youth To The People Adaptogen Soothe + Hydrate Activated Mist with Peptides 4 oz/ 118 mL or Purito Centella Green Level Calming Tonerd and a hydrating moisturizer like First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Face Moisturizer 1.7 oz/ 50 mL or Skinfix Barrier+ Triple Lipid-Peptide Cream

You're essentially looking for products with ingredients that will help repair your skin barrier like ceramides and/or centella and then also boost hydration so hyaluronic acid and/or glycerin.

Dr.Jart Ceramidin line might also be a good bet.
