Everyday face wash

Looking for a face wash.  I have pretty normal skin, a little on the dry sensitive side but nothing major.  Hoping to find something gentle enough for everyday.  Price point doesn't matter to me.  Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

xoxo

Re: Everyday face wash

Derma Doctor vitamin c Aha facial cleanser. The one in the black bottle.  That stuff is God's gift to people like me who exfoliate everyday (P50 aand good genes). It doesn't burn or sting the eyes.  Just make sure that if you're using an oil cleanser as your first step, .that you leavee the derma doctor cleanser on your skin for at least 1 minute, while massaging in the shower.  It makes the skin so clear and bright.

RE: Everyday face wash

i use the pacifica sea foam wash. itโ€™s drugstore but it acts as a bunch of things in one. toner, excess makeup remover (for the stuff your wipe didnt get), and it brightens skin. personally i love it

Re: Everyday face wash

For sensitive skin - the first aid beauty and the philosophy ones are great. Also cetaphil daily facial cleanser is also fantastic. I have dermatologist friends with sensitive skin who swear by it because it's not fragranced and so mild.

RE: Everyday face wash

First Aid Beauty cleanser is my favorite. Not drying at all and helped clear up some dry patches I had.

I have tried this one! not sure how I feel about it. it's oddly shiny and I don't quite know if it's cleaning my face. I'm going to try it out a little more to get a firm opinion on it.

Re: Everyday face wash

I have combo sensitive skin, and I swear by  Youth To The People Superfood Gentle Antioxidant Refillable Cleanser 8 oz / 237 ml right now. No comedogenic or irritating ingredients, removes makeup without my skin feeling tight, and as an added bonus it smells delicious!

sounds like miracle in a bottle I will check it out

so you do like it! @tastelikewater I have oily/combo skin right now that sounds great!

Re: so you do like it! @tastelikewater I have oily/combo skin...

I do now! I tried my old cleanser one more time just to be sure that the YTTP made a difference, and now I'm absolutely sold.

Re: Everyday face wash

On the drugstore side, CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser is a simple gentle cleanser.

is it sold in Walmart or Target?

Re: is it sold in Walmart or Target?

Like @tastelikewater mentioned - should be both. Also available in CVS, Walgreens, etc.

I also want to mention that BJ's Wholesale Club has a big bottle for a really great price. I'd try it to see if you like it first but if you do, then maybe try a wholesale club.

Re: is it sold in Walmart or Target?

@PollyHPocket It should be sold in both. It's a pretty decent drugstore option!

Re: Everyday face wash

I have very dry and sensitive skin. For the longest time I used PHILOSOPHY - Purity Made Simple Cleanser. I loved the cleanser, but I didn't like the bottle design. I'm realizing that I prefer my face wash to come in a bottle with a pump or in a tube. I am currently using the Clinique Mild Liquid Facial Soap, which is good if you like a really foamy cleanser that leaves your skin with a squeaky clean feeling without the drying tightness.

I also like the Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cleanser, and I second @SportyGirly125's recommendation of the  Origins Checks and Balancesโ„ข Frothy Face Wash 5 oz/ 150 mL !

I have tried the purity one and I agree, I hate the packaging. however, the product itself was a little too tightening for me it seems a little to drying and harsh for everyday use. I'll check out the origins! that's the second recommendation for it.

Re: Everyday face wash

@PollyHPocket I love the Drunk Elephant Besteโ„ข No. 9 Jelly Cleanser 5 oz/ 150 mL for my dry, somewhat sensitive skin. It gently cleanses leaving my skin feeling clean but not stripped. The ingredients are amazing and free of SLS, essential oils and other fragrances. It has a really nice jelly consistency that lathers up and rinses off easily. I definitely recommend checking it out โ˜บ๏ธ

What are you wanting in a face wash? Added moisture? A deep clean? Something to help with pores or anti aging maybe? Just trying to narrow it down! Let me know what you want your face wash to do and I'll give you my best recommendations ๐Ÿ™‚
