Often people ask for recommendations on a skincare routine or for specific products/combinations. This might be a place to share your everyday skincare, both AM and PM. A skincare "what are you wearing" as it were. Hope this is useful.
*Age - 40
Skin type - oily/combination
Current skin condition - quite dehydrated (winter/indoor heating)*
01/17/16 - AM skincare in the order I used
1. Nude Jelly cleanser (love)
2. Pixi Glow tonic (5% glycolic toner - love)
3. Omorovicza Queen of Hungary Spritz (sample)
4. Radical Skincare Youth Infusion serum - hydrating and anti-ageing (new to me. Testing)
5. Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream (like)
6. Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine cream (really like as an AM moisturizer)
I will try to post PM skincare tonight so the post can be comprehensive.
General comments - Okay skin. Apparently the age between 38-42 is a transformational time in hormones (dehydrated skin/spots), so I am more aware of how my skin performs/reacts . My skincare definitely has more "actives" now than before.
These all look so luxurious! Your skin must be so soft!
01/18/16 - PM skincare
1. Nude Skincare Jelly Cleanser
2. Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask - I am using up my sample, but I have already ordered the full size. I like.
3. Tata Harper Concentrated Brightening serum - my serums have had a theme in the past few days. Winter and travel has left my skin a bit dull. So I am trying to get some radiance back. This TH serum is fairly new to me but I have used it for a few days and am quite pleased. It has added a pep into my skin.
4. Bobbi Brown Hydrating Face Cream
5. Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye cream
Some of my skincare restocking items are coming in tomorrow. I am eager as I could use some deeper hydration by layering.
Night!
Great thread! It's interesting to see what everyone else does.
Age: 45
Skin: combo, occasional hormonal acne, not the least bit sensitive
AM PTR 24K gold cleansing balm
Tone 'Acne stop' (lactic/salicylic acid)
Essence Raw Sauce or Roseberry essence by Original Raw (Essentielle Beauty)
Serum Dior One Essential or Good Genes or Le Jour de Chanel (whichever I'm in the mood for)
Moisturizer Josie Maran Argan milk with sunscreen or if I'm feeling dry Nature Republic Ginseng Royal Silk Watery Cream (asian import) and a primer with sunscreen
Eye Cream Trish mcEvoy Retinol eye cream or Caudalie eye cream
PM Eye makeup remover UD Meltdown or Koh Gen Do Spa water,
Cleansing oil Privia U Real Natural Cleansing oil, following by Clarisonic radiance cleanser (deluxe minis from last years promotion) Clarisonic 3-4 times a week
Toner, essence same as day
Retin-A 0.05% cream every other day alternated with GloMinerals Renew Serum (retinol, glycolic, lactic serum) this is basically a mild peel
Night cream Nars luminous moisture cream. Sometimes Dr. Sebagh Rose mask for sleeping.
Every 2 weeks or so I have been doing an at home peel series called Fade Peel by Makeup Artists Choice which is a mix of acids left on for 2-5 minutes as tolerated. Helps get rid of acne, melasma and brightens
Age: 30
Skin: Combo, acne prone, sensitive to BHA's
Currently: more dry than oily, with hormonal breakouts
AM:
Cleanse - boscia Black Cleanser- My favorite, repeatedly rebuy
Tone with Chanel's pink toner - My favorite, repeatedly rebuy
Essence: May Coop Raw Sauce (I like this in winter, Missha essence in summer) - My favorite, repeatedly rebut
Serum: OH Vitamin C serum - Ok, used to be a favorite, but now I switch with random serum samples and don't notice much of a difference
Oil: NUDE Progenius Rescue oil - favorite, rebuy frequently
Moisturize: MD Solar Sciences Anti Aging SPF 30 Moisturizer - Love, will rebut when I am done
Eyes: Algenist
PM:
Cleanse: Oil based first, then FAB cleanser - haven't found a have oil based, but looking for it. FAB is a favorite
Tone: MB Rosewater spray - favorite
Essence - Missha Essence, will mix with sample essences, but Missha is the favorite for night
Serum: Alternate between retinol (DDG Ferulic + Retinol or PTR Retinol Fusion) and Skinmedica Lytera (brightening/evening skin tone) - Will rebuy Lytera and DDg Retinol
Eyes: samples - have not decided on a favorite yet
Either Hydraluron or Dr Jart night BB balm - love both, will continue to repurchase and alternate
I find these combos work the best. They heal any hormonal breakouts the fastest and my skin is smooth, skin tone is evening, and skin is soft and smooth. Will continue with this for the foreseeable future (I.e. until my skin changes again 😉 )
Have you tried clinique take the day off balm? It contains safflower oil and I use that as my oil based cleanser and love it and also love the FAB cleanser. I share your skintype but struggling with hyper pigmentation right now does the Nude progenius oil help with that?
I have tried the TTDO balm, and OH's Melting Cleanser - they both are too much for my skin and leave a bit of a residue which in turn makes my skin sad. I really love boscia's makeup breakup cleanser and use that a lot, but I am working through a sample of another oil based cleanser right now.
I don't think the NUDE progenies helps with hyper pigmentation, but when I use it during the day I produce less oil, and the retinol in it helps tame any breakouts I have, and can keep an under the surface blemish from erupting.
mid-20s, dry, hyperpigmentation
1/18 AM:
philosophy purity + Clarisonic (Radiance brush) in the shower
Laura Mercier Face Polish, also in the shower

Bare Minerals Renew & Hydrate eye cream
* DS that I am trialing
Thirty something, oily, acne prone and sensitive skin. This is my fall/winter skincare regimen. I do use an eye cream, but there's no special one. Right now I cycle through samples. I'm pretty certain I'll never need to buy an eye cream again.

Ole Henrikson Empower Featherweight Moisturizer
*Cover FX Custom Infusion Drops E & Chamomile - Optional, depends on how my skin feels.

Boots Botanics All Bright Cleansing Toner
Caudalie Beauty Elixir
Nude Progenius Omega Treatment
Caudalie Polyphenol C15 Eye & Lip Cream - I use this on my lips.

*On days I don't wear makeup I usually start my PM regimen with the Nude Progenis Omega Treatment.
Weekly treatments - I either exfoliate with Lush Ocean Salt or use Real Chemistry Luminous 3 Minute Peel once a week and follow it with a moisturizing mask. Masking is one of my most favorite things and I typically do it 2-3 times a week. My most favorite mask is Lush Catastrophe Cosmetic Fresh Mask, but I rotate based on how my skin feels. Other favorites include, any Lush mask (except Cosmetic Warrior, the smell is too much and makes me sick ), First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Instant Oatmeal Mask and The Body Shop Aloe Protective Restoring Mask.
Age: 32
Skin type: combination
Current condition: dehydrated. A month ago I got PRK surgery on my eyes and it takes a while to heal up to 20/20, so I've been doing a lot of squinting (causing my angry 11's wrinkles to get worse). Also have a little bit of pitted acne scarring 😛
AM skincare:
ORG Mineral Peel (not every single day, but most)
Paula's Choice Resist Replenishing Toner
PC Resist Pure Radiance Treatment (vit C)

Wash with PC Moisture Boost cleanser & Clarisonic Mia FIT
Myotone microcurrent thingy (about 4-5 nights/week)

Moisturizer - sort of switching around between PC Moisture Boost Hydrating Treatment Cream, Mizon Bee Venom cream and Farmacy Sleep Tight balm (I have too many moisturizers going right now)
Dr. Brandt Needles No More on forehead wrinkles
*Age - 40 and darn proud of it!
Skin type - combination
Current skin condition - probably a little dehydrated due to some serious cold here (-7 F this AM)
01/18/16 - AM skincare in the order I used

2. May Coop Raw Sauce
3. Ole Heinriksen Truth Serum (mmmm citrus)
4. Dermalogica Intensive Eye cream
5. Tarte Maracuja Oil
Once or twice a week I may throw in a skincare sample just to try to kill the stash a bit, or use a mask (PTR pumpkin burns like heck but for some reason, I love it).
It's great stuff!!
It is thicker than SKII, almost like a mix between a lightweight gel and the SKII, so I think it imparts a bit more moisture. To me it also smells better, I really picked up the yeast-y smell from SKII and I don't get that with Raw Sauce.
I agree I didn't notice much difference with SKII, but Raw Sauce has definitely kept my skin from feeling overly dry during the winter months.
I have never tried the SKII but I was very skeptical on the Raw Sauce. It is literally like water so I thought there is no way this can do anything for me. I was wrong!
Age - 30 almost 31

Lush Angels on Bare Skin
Lush Eau Roma Water
Lush Celestial Moisturizer
PM:
Lush Angels on Bare Skin
Lush Eau Roma Water
Lush Celestial Moisturizer
My skin is beyond sensitive and these products haven't irritated it at all and have helped with some mild issues (acne) I've been having, so this routine works well for me. I need to look for a sunscreen though....
Age- in my final year of my 20s 😞
Skin type- oily, dehydrated
Current skin condition- very dehydrated, dry patches
1/18/16- AM skincare:
Origins Checks & Balances- my skin loves this cleanser
Clinique toner- I don't like this and am trying to use it up
May Coop Raw Sauce- trialing (only on day 2 of my trial)
Caudalie C15 serum- LOVE!
Mario Badescu facial spray rosewater- trialing
Neutrogena face lotion- trying to use up but is not providing enough moisture for winter
Origins ginzing eye cream- trialing
I'm really in need of something that can help hydrate my skin. I'm thinking about stopping the Clinique toner and trying a new serum focused on hydration. Has anyone tried the Caudalie SOS thirst quenching serum?
It's more than I do! I say whatever works!! I have to keep things simple or else my skin freaks out =/
40, oily/combo, dehydrated.
01/18/16 - AM skincare
1. Tatcha Camelia oil cleanser - love
2. Pixi Glow tonic - love
3. DDG Radiance Booster serum - I have used this a lot as an AM serum for the past couple of months. I really like it.
4. Bobbi Brown Hydrating moisturizer
5. Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream
*- I indulge most in serums and rotate amongst a few. I do quite a bit of reading up before I decide to acquire a serum. I will try to note what I think of a product next to my list.
- In the past few months, my big step up in skincare has been adding in a daytime serum. *
I wish i could use that Tatcha Camelia oil. I tried a packet of it on Christmas break and I was itching my entire face like crazy within 2 minutes of putting it on. I got so raw from scratching that I had to stay out of the sun. And I don't even have sensitive skin. I tried another Tatcha moisturizer, same reaction. They dont test on animals or people apparently, so I was a guinea pig. I love their mist though.
How do you like the Pixi Glow tonic? I have heard about it so just curious really...Not like it's probably easy to get in Canada now anyways since Target has been long gone =( -sigh-
Jess - I absolutely love the Pixi Glow tonic.
When I had first purchased it, I was disappointed that it was so mild (it is only 5% glycolic). I used stronger acids for exfoliation at night. But now I use it frequently as my morning toner which works perfectly.
For skin much younger (20s) than mine, this toner will be more than adequate as an exfoliant. It is gentle but effective to keep the skin clear and bright.
I have prchased all Pixi products directly from their website (they even have points for cash). You might try that and see if they ship to Canada.
