Cleanser

Hey, so I have milia and I have also been getting pimples lately. I would like to get a new cleanser. Any recommendations? I also have sensitive skin.

Re: Cleanser

For the milia I would say exfoliation is your friend @mx123. I don't think you can get that entirely out of a cleanser, are you using a separate AHA or BHA? The two products that have helped me the most with milia are Paula's Choice 2% BHA and Drunk Elephant TLC Glycolic Serum. Sunday Riley Good Genes is also helpful. It doesn't have to be these products, though-- you just need AHA/BHA containing products. This is the most helpful reference for me when I get milia, and I always return to it:

Hope that helps, in the last resort you can always go to a derm and have them removed.

RE: Cleanser

For Milia you want to be careful as to what you're applying to your skin. Something that's entirely too rich will not help reduce it at all. You should get a very mild cleanser (skin laundry-gentle foaming) and incorporate an acne cleanser two to three times a week. Hopefully this will help you out! Best of luck

Re: Cleanser

@mx123 For the acne, I would use an acne fighting everyday cleanser like the Kate Somerville one or the Philosophy one. I'll link you those down below. As for milia, I don't have much experience with that so I can't recommend anything for that but hopefully someone else can chime in?
