Best tranexamic acid & niacinamide for melasma?

I've seen dermatologists, had peels and microneedling, applied prescription medication for months (years) on end and my melasma is still so stubborn and getting worse. I'm religious about my sunscreen use, avoiding heat when possible and wearing hats/covering up when I'm outside. I can't afford expensive peels and lasers or to constantly go back to the derm/doctors. Any TXA or niacinamide recommendations that won't totally break the bank?

Yes I'm aware melasma is a hormone issue, doctors haven't found any problems with my health. And I'm aware a diet change may help but I've cut foods out and seen no change.

Currently using a neutral cleanser and moisturizer, chemical and physical sunscreens (depends on the day), hyaluronic acid 5x a week, retinol 2x a week when it's not summer, vitamin c suspension 2x a week. Rarely a AHA/BHA face mask (every few months) but I probably need to do that regularly.
