BEST MOISTURIZER / OILY SKIN

i have really oily skin and my oil control cleanser is great but not enough to control the oils. i go to sleep every night and still wake up looking shiny (not as much before but still). so yea i’m lookin for the best moisturizer that will help me!! pls let me know!!

Hi yasnguyen! Are you currently using a toner with your cleanser? I love the Martin Toner from Sunday Riley after cleansing, especially if I’m feeling shiny and during the summer. I’ll follow up with Murad’s Oil Control Moisturizer, PTR’s oil free moisturizer, or the Belief Aqua Bomb! Just a few of my faves!!

Hi pretty!

I suffer from extremely oily skin during the summer and here are some of the products I use to help tone down the shine! 

Moisturizer: Ole Henriksen's Counter Balance Hydrator- The whole Balance line (green bottles) is actually amazing for oily skin.

Toner: Sunday Riley U.F.O- This toner is great for mattifying the skin.

Primer: Becca's Evermatte Primer- By far the most potent oil controlling primer I have ever used! A tiny bit goes a long way and keeps you matte for hours if applied correctly.

Yes, a good moisturizer will definitely help you get your oil under control, @yasnguyen! There are a ton of threads about good moisturizers for oily skin, so you may want to search and skim other posts for more suggestions, but to get you started I have had good luck with Belif's Aqua (and Moisturizing) Bomb, Caudalie's Vinosource Sorbet Cream, and Ole Henriksen's Sheer Transformation.
