Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread and giving us a place to share our love for masks💗 Below is the 2020 schedule. Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. 

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe

“I” is for it’s pack time. I tried out the 1 am version. @ShortErica  pointed out this was apparently supposed to be rinsed off - I did not know that haha. The fit on this was just okay - I find with a lot of 2 piece masks that the chin area is always way too small. Agree with the diaper assessment - I actually almost ripped it because I thought it was another part I was supposed to peel off. That said, I liked the scent a lot, and my skin felt really nice and hydrated after using it - I really liked the lotion. I would use this again 

also used the “r”asberry and lentil juice mask. I’m not really sure what happened because I’ve used this brand, and possibly this one, before, and I remember loving it. For some reason this was like super super tacky after I used it. I ended up having to wash it off when like half an hour later my face was still so sticky ! Maybe I misremembered it

Oh, that is too bad about the raspberry and lentil juice cleanse mask @Kim888! I’ve used the version @Shosh85 mentioned and really liked it; I don’t remember it being very tacky. I haven’t tried the newer versions.

I personally do not care for the ones with the vitamin c dots, @Kim888 but the other versions were great

@Kim888 Do you think you might have used the other version of the Ariul mask last time? There's this one that you just used that the serum and mask come in separate pouches (on the right in the picture) and the other one that's like your average mask with the serum and mask already combined. I remember liking the other version (on the left) a lot better.

@Kim888 If I had to guess, maybe it was a different time of the year that you used the Ariul mask. A season with more humidity? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Wish the 1am would have had a better fit for you but other than that it seemed to work. Sorry about the juice one @Kim888. Now you need to try it a third time for a tie breaker. 😉

I is for Icing

A'pieu Melon Icing Sweet Bar

This is a super thin cotton sheet mask that was dripping with serum and had a yummy melon scent - kinda like imitation honeydew. The fit was just ok - the mouth and eye holes were all too small and was a little too short width-wise. It adhered well and after making adjustments to the eyes and mouth, it was comfortable to wear. I kept it on for about a half hour. After I removed it the leftover serum absorbed very quickly and left behind some light tackiness that lasted less than 10 minutes. My face looked brighter and had a nice glow, and my skin felt comfortably hydrated and soft and smooth.

I now have tried all four from the line (I think there's only 4?🤔) and it seems they've all had pretty similar results and the scent it what sets them apart the most.
I have enough backups of the line at the moment, but when they're gone I'd love to repurchase them all. 😃

I'm glad it wasn't a strong cantaloupe smell though, but a nice refreshing general melon scent.

@heartsmyface  Ohh, is that like a cantaloupe flavor?! Yum! I'm pretty sure I've never had a melon drink, but I'm positive I've never seen a carbonated one! 😋
