Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread and giving us a place to share our love for masks💗 Below is the 2020 schedule. Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. 

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe

Me too, @ShortErica.! I’m starting to pick and choose a bit more, I just don’t use up containers as much as I thought I would. But the design of this one makes it a keeper:)

This is a great idea @eshoe !  My tub is currently sitting under a body scrub and a 1L shampoo.  And you nailed it, I just grab for something easier to grab.  Might need to steal your idea!

@eshoe  Omg that is amazing. I always end up getting water in the tubs when I’m in the shower so that’s a perfect way to dispense the amount you need without getting water in it. And makes it way easier to reach for!! Definitely saving my next lala container for repurposing.

Going on theme with the "mask to address current skin issue" I went through my stash and miraculously found my BITE BEAUTY - Agave+ Intensive Vegan Lip Mask.  (I own the "old" formula.)  I bought this over a year ago and used it once or twice before getting bored with it since I find it very thick and unspreadable - not to mention tacky.  I love my LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask Intense Hydration with Vitamin C Original but needed something with more oomph.  

You see, I was wearing my procedure mask at work on Wednesday (all day since I work in healthcare) and the fit was off - probably b/c we are only issued one every two weeks.  By mid-morning my lips kept hitting the mask, and were getting rather irritated.  The fabric felt rather scratchy, and there was some moisture which served to further make my lips uncomfortable.  I found the most pain on my bottom lip, and on the upper and lower lip lines.

The only thing I had on hand that I thought might work was the Bite mask.  To my surprise, it took the edge off.  I felt less pain, and the mask lasted pretty well all night.  I've been wearing it for three days now once I get home, and I feel like my lips are substantially better.  Plus, I feel like this does more for the skin around my lips than other treatments.  I'm glad I'm finally putting this to work.

However, if anyone has any other tips for lip care while wearing a mask, please let me know.  I'm more open to drugstore options right now b/c I can run in and get those as opposed to waiting on shipping for products from Sephora.  But really, any input would be helpful.

Thank you for all that you do @greeneyedgirl107. I am not going to be of much help with a thicker lip balm because I developed an allergy to Bite Beauty products. I even tried the new lipsticks over the holidays and I had the same reaction. The drugstore version that I like is Carmex.

@greeneyedgirl107  Aside from Aquaphor, which is my cure-all for everything :D, I can’t think of other quickly-attainable options. But I’ll ask around.

Do you rec the Aquaphor that is specially made for lips, or the general Aquaphor?  I tried one a while back, but can't remember which.

@greeneyedgirl107  I use plain ol’ Aquaphor ointment. I tried the sunscreen lip balm and didn’t like it (I could taste the sunscreen in it), but I don’t think I’ve tried the other lip balm—the Immediate Relief Lip Repair balm. I think that one has a shea butter base instead of petrolatum.
