Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread and giving us a place to share our love for masks💗 Below is the 2020 schedule. Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. 

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Most importantly, have fun and merry masking!

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Spoiler

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe
Remove clay/difficult masks in the shower to keep towel clean and removal easy	itsfi/BIC
Use an HA serum prior to trying a mask with alcohol high on the ingredients list	keana1
Use a Makeup Eraser to remove wash-off masks	lmaster
With a detox mask, apply a thicker layer where pores are	Ather

I have never tried a VS mask. Too bad you didn’t see much brightening. @lmaster

@Weetart yeah the foil masks have not been the greatest from VS but they do have other masks that are amazing! And worth trying

"good ol mask holder to the rescue again" - looove it! 🙂 The one-piece foil masks can cause me some problems with fit and staying in place. So happy with the Sephora's mask holder - when it first launched, I thought it was limited edition; so glad that it's not. It should be in every masker's kit. <333

You’re so welcome @lmaster. 🤗 Happy to help enable! Hahaha! 😝 When I thought it was LE, I found some in store and picked up a couple extra, just in case some folks here missed out on it. It’s the best mask holder I’ve tried.

@lmaster  Well that's cool that it seemed to fit well and was flexible! I haven't had much luck getting foil masks to fit closely, so that's good to hear that this one was decent in that respect.

@PrettyPaint do you have the SEPHORA COLLECTION Keep on Masking Face Mask Holderit's worth buying for sure!! Helps with all those issues I had before

@lmaster Thanks for the tip!! 🙂 I do actually have it and keep forgetting to use it. I will definitely be sure to use it next time I do a foil mask. I don't tend to buy foil masks too often, but I think I have a couple of sephora ones I still need to try!!

TCS Glow Up Unicorn mask for U week

Can't say I love this mask. It had a super cute design on it but the fit was eh. The eye holes are too small for me because they were too round and I have almond shape eyes. The nose was quite long so had to fold it up a teeny bit so it wouldn't go up my nose as I was breathing... lol. It left my face very tacky afterwards. Even after applying moisturizer my face was still sticky. Hunny even commented on it so you know it was a bit much. Not one I would want to really try again.

@GalPalVal17  Definitely doesn't sound like the most delightful experience! This is one I own, but never brought myself to trying because of the negative reviews. 😕

Oh no @GalPalVal17! Sorry this one didn't work out so well for you. I can see how that would be the case, especially if your skin was left feeling sticky even after moisturizer.
