From the Masks on the Move box I chose this little mask. I half expected it to smell like carrots but alas, it didn't.  But this It's Skin mask was quite nice. My skin was lovely afterwards- calm, bouncy, soft. A good little mask

Re: 2019 Q4 Mask of the Week Challenge!

I've enjoyed a few It's Skin masks- glad to hear this one worked out well for you, even if it didn't smell like carrots, lol! @l8totheparty

Re: 2019 Q4 Mask of the Week Challenge!

I totally wanted te fresh carrot smell @quspork lol ๐Ÿฅ•

Re: 2019 Q4 Mask of the Week Challenge!

I could totally go for a fresh, sweet carrot scent @l8totheparty! Had a garden when I was little and my parents grew a lot of our veggies. I would eat these and pop peas from the pod-they were like candy.

Your description is great: โ€˜calm, bouncy, soft.โ€™ Yes, I will take one too, please!

Re: 2019 Q4 Mask of the Week Challenge!

Yes!  Fresh carrots and peas from the garden- we had one too growing up and I loved walking out, grabbing a carrot, wipping the dirt off on my shorts and eating it.  Yum! ๐Ÿฅ•๐Ÿฅ•๐Ÿฅ•๐Ÿฅ•

@eshoe

Re: 2019 Q4 Mask of the Week Challenge!

Ahhh you are so lucky @l8totheparty!!!! What else did you grow?

Re: 2019 Q4 Mask of the Week Challenge!

Oh I love a masks on the move pick @l8totheparty I'm not sure how I'd have felt about a carrot scent lol.  Nice to end up with bouncy skin afterwards!

Re: 2019 Q4 Mask of the Week Challenge!

@l8totheparty  Calm, bouncy and soft sounds good to me! Glad you enjoyed this one! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿฅ•

Re: 2019 Q4 Mask of the Week Challenge!

This sounds really nice @l8totheparty. I haven't seen this one before.

Re: 2019 Q4 Mask of the Week Challenge!

@l8totheparty nice! I don't think I've ever seen a carrot mask before

Re: 2019 Q4 Mask of the Week Challenge!

It was a nice one! @Kim888

love a good vegetable mask @l8totheparty

Re: 2019 Q4 Mask of the Week Challenge!

So this masking was crazy off topic on Monday night... but so it goes.

Spoiler
I started off trying the No Stress Zone from 10.0.6.  Had to wipe it off/rinse it off seconds after I got it on my face.  I've used this before and it was fine, though nothing to write home about.  This time, it felt like I had poured perfume into an open wound on my dry skin, especially around my under eye.
I applied the Pacifica Sea Algae mask in lieu of the 10.0.6 for some environmental damage control and soothing.  I left this on for about a half hour and my dry skin was good with it.  I won't say that this did much, but it didn't hurt, I think it would need to be used consistently to live up to any claims.  Will try to use this up before the end of the year to make room for newness.
In shower I tried out the Briogeo Bear hair mask.  This mask smells amazing.  I'm a person who loves a good scent in my hair products and this one is bang on.  I left it on my 'ponytail' for about 15 minutes while I did some shower sitting.  Am I the only one who likes to just sit in the shower sometimes?  Weird? Okay moving on.  My hair was super easy to detangle out of the shower and I avoided using any primer/detangler to see how it performed on its own. After air drying overnight my hair felt great this morning.  Based on this one use, I'd say it's a great hair mask.  I usually use a mask about twice a week and I'd have no problem recommending this one.  I do think I'd continue to purchase my Amika over this one simply due to cost.  The Briogio has a better scent for me personally but the Amika isn't bad and performs the same thus far. Now... if Amika is no longer stocked at TJ's or I'm feeling rich... me and Briogeo will meet again.
My other new in shower experience was the Frank lip scrub.  I like this.  I'm currently using a coffee body scrub and this pairs well.  I'm off the coffee as a beverage for the time being and this makes me feel like I'm still getting that delicious aroma.  I'm glad I randomly grabbed this, I like to keep a scrubby lip in the shower for my shower sitting days.
Post shower I busted out a new TJ's purchase and the only mask that really fit the theme.  The My Beauty Diary Hyaluronic Acid Ultra Moisturizing mask. I enjoyed this mask.  No memorable scent, a pretty decent fit that I didn't need to cut at all and my face felt moisturized after about 25 minutes.  There was some tack after removing which doesn't bother me, but I know some aren't keen on it.
I polished off the night with my new favourite sleeping mask that isn't really a sleeping mask, so I guess it's a double duty winner for this week!  The Dr. Jart Oil in Balm has been a saviour this last week or so and feels sooooo nice to leave on my parched skin overnight.  No extra friends from the oil!

Re: 2019 Q4 Mask of the Week Challenge!

@missjeanie Shower sitting is completely normal -signed your BIC same thoughts twin ๐Ÿ˜‰

Re: 2019 Q4 Mask of the Week Challenge!

โ€˜No extra friends form the oilโ€™ took me a sec, but yes-thatโ€™s definitely a keeper @missjeanie!

No, you are not the only one who does that. Itโ€™s so therapeutic for me when Iโ€™m sad. Or sick. Or both, ha;) Hope youโ€™re doinโ€™ ok, my friend ๐Ÿค—

Re: 2019 Q4 Mask of the Week Challenge!

Iโ€™ve been ok @eshoe , got a bit of a head cold this week that has been trying me. But yes, sad days I tend to sit in the shower. Itโ€™s very therapeutic.

Re: 2019 Q4 Mask of the Week Challenge!

@missjeanie  I have that Formula 10.0.6 mask and so far have only sniffed it ๐Ÿ˜‚ I'm sorry it was uncomfortable this time around! I know what you mean though, my skin definitely gets more sensitive the drier it becomes.

Re: 2019 Q4 Mask of the Week Challenge!

I remember thinking it was fine over the summer @Shosh85 ! It may need to be a summer mask for me.

Re: 2019 Q4 Mask of the Week Challenge!

@missjeanie  Oh yikes, that no stress zone sounds pretty stressful. I am completely intrigued by the oil balm. My skin gets ridiculously dry, so it sounds heavenly!

Re: 2019 Q4 Mask of the Week Challenge!

I've used the no stress zone in the past and it was fine, but that was over the summer when my skin is a bit better behaving.  I'm so dry/dehydrated right now that it just plain stung @PrettyPaint .  The oil in balm has been a saviour at night for me lately.  I find the moisture ends up lasting me until just around the time I need to reapply before bed again.  Check out your local TJ's/Marshalls, I've been finding some Dr. Jart sporadically there!
