Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread and giving us a place to share our love for masks💗 Below is the 2020 schedule. Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. 

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Spoiler

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe
Remove clay/difficult masks in the shower to keep towel clean and removal easy	itsfi/BIC
Use an HA serum prior to trying a mask with alcohol high on the ingredients list	keana1

It is a fun little mask @lmaster and one I plan to repurchase as it pairs perfectly with the Neogen!

My mom is in town tonight, so what did we do? Mask!

Me with the Dr. Perricone cocoa mask and mom with the Olehendriksen Power Bright. She enjoyed it, saying her skin felt smoother, and was more even. Her morning report: brighter, softer skin! That was a fun session. I had exfoliated last night, so I couldn't to do the Olehendriksen with her. A+ mark earlier in the evening and an A+ visit.

Masking with mom sounds awesome @l8totheparty .  My mom used to make me put a wash off mask on for her when she was sick.  Said it made her feel pampered!  Great bonding for both of you!

I was a little surprised that she wanted to try the power bright, but she enjoyed it and quite enjoyed her brighter skin in the morning.  I told her not to be too surprised if a couple went her way at Christmas.  (So much for the surprise! Lol)

@l8totheparty  That sounds like some good quality mom/daughter time. I mask with my daughter often and its fun especially when we try different masks we can share our results. Glad you both had positive experiences and great results.

I have one of these frudia masks @l8totheparty this is the only version I've found in the tj Maxx and Marshalls 🙄

@l8totheparty  That's so great you got to mask and spend time with your mom! Definitely sounds like some great mother-daughter time!

It's too bad the Frudia mask didn't smell like blueberries! I smelled blueberries both times I used this mask, but it is a light scent and I do have a sensitive nose 😉

Also, thank you for the heads up on there scent of the AP. While I love it in their rice powder, I found it a bit too overpowering in one of their other wash-off masks. Good to know!

The Ordinary and the Biossance both sound awesome @itsfi !  I'm trudging away on my not so favourite leneige sleeping mask and I'm so tempted to chuck it so I can start on something new!  Good to have some awesome spot treatments as well.  I say 'meh' to the recommended time lol

Yeah @missjeanie, I look at the recommended time as a suggestion or guideline. I mean, certainly if it’s a new mask to me and it contains acids of some sort I’m more included to go with the suggestion the first time around but if I’m not feeling irritation or tingling, I’ll usually go for my usual 30 minutes.
