Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread and giving us a place to share our love for masks💗 Below is the 2020 schedule. Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. 

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe
Remove clay/difficult masks in the shower to keep towel clean and removal easy	itsfi/BIC
Use an HA serum prior to trying a mask with alcohol high on the ingredients list	keana1

S is for Sara, Skin and Skinfood!

I used one of my favorites the CT goddess Skin clay mask - always does such a good job of smoothing and tightening my pores plus I love the baby powder scent. 
Also tried out the Sara Happ Lip Clay mask which was sent to me by @eshoe ! My lips always get really dry this time of year so anything extra helps. I definitely think it softened my lips - I did have some flakiness and I'm not sure if it was a result of the mask but my lips peeled a lot after I used in the first time. The second time it was more hydrating I felt like. 

Finished up with the Skinfood Beauty Berry mask, thank you @mermadelove for sending that to me! The sheet mask was a thick cotton with a pattern on it. the fit was rather large. It had a light scent, that was sort of fruity but I wouldn't necessarily call it blueberry. When I pulled it out of the package I felt like it might be under saturated but it totally stayed wet the entire time and the serum was nice and hydrating and absorbed quickly. I'd say A- on that one!

I saw your post quickly yesterday and it reminded me that I have the same SH lip mask.  I only used it the one time (Clay lip mask felt weird to me), so I broke it out again tonight.  I still think the clay lip mask is weird, however I think I know what you mean about the bit of peeling/flaking, maybe in the 15 minutes after I took it off with a washcloth?

So happy you were able to try that Sara Happ mask, @Kim888! Interesting that your lips peeled the first time you tried it; very relieved to hear it didn’t happen after that. I’m not sure how effective I feel it is, but it is fun to use. 

The Skinfood sounds good, and that CT is on my list of masks to try!

interesting about the lip mask @Kim888 I have not noticed my lips peeling more after using it, but note taken, and I'm going to pay more attention to be positive after using it 👍

@itsfi did you pick up the holiday Laneige set? Can’t remember if you did, or if you posted about it as a PSA. It seems like you mentioned the chocolate mint, which sounds delicious!

@eshoe, I didn't pick up the holiday set - I picked up full sizes of the two limited edition sleeping masks (chocolate mint and sweet candy) instead. I already have a full size of the original version (and a handful of the DS, too - lol) so it didn't make sense to get the holiday set this year.

Got it @itsfi, thank you. Those are really such a great buy, they last forever (hence why I am not picking up any this year, despite what must be a deliciously-yummy scent ha)!

Is there someone you could gift the FS of the original to @eshoe? If you did, you could get the set and keep the DS of the LE flavors. Just a thought...

Glad to hear you enjoy the pearl mask! - I think that's probably my favorite from the line as well! ... the pearl eye masks are pretty nice too 😉

@itsfi that always happens to be with lip balms too. they are so small as well they always fall the bottom of my skin care basket and I end up using what happens to be on top.

Yes @Kim888!!! And everytime I switch out my handbag, I find more to add to the basket. Hahaha! 😆 I suppose I could stop buying lip balms until I get through the ones I have .... naaaah. 😂🤣😂

Question for the maskers: if you are using the same wash off or overnight mask multiple times a week, how often are you posting about it? Once? Rarely? Every time? 

I don't want to flood the thread with my repeats, then people will be all: 'oh, there's @l8totheparty with her 47th posting of Boscia Pore pudding'. How many times do you really want to read me usingAMOREPACIFIC - Treatment Enzyme Peeling Masque, because I'm using it once a week. Lol

When I use my "loves" I mention it as that, my love/hg & move right into what's new to me, if there is any. @I8totheparty I think everyone & their mother knows I love GG Supermud & depend on it to dry up blemishes when my face gets out of whack but maybe there's that 1 reader who is new to the thread & don't know how good it is & will ask me a question about it...😉

I rarely post my wash offs unless they are new to me, or I tie it to the theme @l8totheparty I use wash offs almost everyday 😆
