Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe

This morning was the last day of the 7-days of sheet masks in the Sanrio Hello Kitty Cherry Blossom Sheet Mask (thank you again @Indy701!) – and it did not disappoint. These sheet masks are nice to use as a daily sheet mask – they’re quick, I don’t need to think about what mask I want to use in the morning, and my skin feels hydrated after use. These get an “A” from me. This mask pack was nice to have on hand, and I could see myself using these particular masks again, but maybe not for 7 consecutive days – that’s a big commitment and there were some mornings when I wanted to skip masking but didn’t go through with that in order to keep to my schedule for this sheet mask pack. Maybe every other day or every few days.

Also getting an “A” is the Fresh Sugar Nourishing Lip Treatment Advanced Therapy! I’m glad I didn’t write this balm off after my initial use. By the second day, the hard texture had softened (but not so much that is was too soft, but enough that it had some slip and emolliency to it upon scooping it out of the pod), and by the third day, the plastic scent I smelled had disappeared. Thank goodness. Folks here were right that the plastic scent came from the packaging and I suspect the texture issues that first day was the result of the packaging as well and the cold. I’ve tried the flavored balms and as between those and this one, my preference is for the flavored ones but this one is nice as well.

Me too @veronika23! Plastic smelling lip balm is just not my thing! Hahaha! 😂 The HK mask is a nice everyday mask; I would use these again.

@itsfi do you think you could open a pack like this and keep it in the fridge to extend the life beyond 7 days?  I wonder if my need for variety would be too much to take on a 7pack?  So glad the fresh balm ended up working out!

Absolutely @missjeanie. 😃 The pouch can be sealed back up. 👍🏼 I actually kept the pack in my mini fridge. You could definitely extend the mask beyond thr 7 days though my personal preference would be to not extend it too far beyond 7 days.
