Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe
Remove clay/difficult masks in the shower to keep towel clean and removal easy	itsfi/BIC

I've only just started my deluxe sample of the GR Watermelon Sleeping Mask and I love it too @Alphaboo .  I haven't had issue with pilling, but from what I've read in reviews it's a common complaint.  Love that sweet candy like scent though!

I had trouble with pilling when I applied it too heavily. If I just lightly pat it onto my skin it does great though - this is definitely a mask where less is more.

Excellent duo @Alphaboo. Sounds like W was for winning combination as well! Great choices for masks this week. You're so right, the GR watermelon sleeping mask is a fabulous mask during the warmer months, especially coming out of the fridge! 🙂

W is for White rose an ingredient in PETER THOMAS ROTH - Rose Stem Cell Bio-Repair Gel Mask.

This is the first time I’ve used this mask and it will definitely not be my last. I loved it❤️🌹! The scent was very nice, it wasn’t too thick. I used it as an overnight mask and this morning my face looked brighter and still felt hydrated. To complete my rose theme I used the Sephora collection rose lip balm and MegRhythm rose steam eye mask. They are both favorites!

Friday night I used GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon + AHA Glow Sleeping Mask.

I’m not a fan of this one. The smell is great, but that’s about it. About 10 minutes after I put it on I touched my face and the mask was pilling like crazy. Has anyone else had this happen? I don’t think this is one I would try again. Maybe the sample was old🤔

@faeriegirl the GR pilled on me like crazy, too. I loved the scent but ended up destashing it to a family member because I just couldn't get it to work for me. Now the mist, on the other hand <3<3<3!!!

I used it for months and just thought it was peeling off dead skin @faeriegirl. But my skin didn’t look any different so I tried it as a wash-off. Oh well!

I haven't used it in a hot minute @faeriegirl , but I adore the PTR Rose mask.  I was in a habit for a few weeks using it as a sleep mask every night.  So much product in there too!  Your theme is totally on point!

@faeriegirl  This exact thing happened to me. I used it for the first time after my regular night routine and slept and it was coming off on bed and when I woke up in the morning, looked pretty tucking with all the crazy pilling. I was confused what all the hype is about but then maybe I didn’t use it right 😐🤔

@faeriegirl I have this issue with the watermelon sleeping mask from GR,used it a maybe three times and was done! I just didn't like the texture or how it feels in my skin 🤷, it was the wash off version. glad to hear the PTR rose was great for you

@faeriegirl The only times I've ever used the Glow Recipe mask is as a wash off mask, so that might be why I haven't noticed it, but I have heard of this happening to those who've used it as a sleeping mask. I think @keana1, the mad scientist, 👩🏻‍🔬 😉 figured out a nice way to keep it from pilling?

That one definitely has a nice scent! 🍉😋

Love those warming eye masks! They're great for headaches! 😃

I like that PTR mask a lot - it is also really nice to pop in the fridge and use as a cooling mask on hot days.
