Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe

Glad you like that Farmacy cleanser! I have a few ds I have to get to but one too many cleansers going at the moment... I don't have room to open another. 😄 Interested in knowing how you feel about the mask with more uses. @sonnydee

Good reminder @sonnydee; I have a couple DS of the Farmacy Green Clean; need to go find them. The baby spatula in cleansing balms is a nice touch. A lot of the Kbeauty cleansing balms have them, but I like how the Farmacy one secures it to the jar.

Yea its on the lid & theres another stopper on the actual product. Very convenient & keeps everything clean @itsfi

I can’t wait to read your final review of the clay mask @sonnydee ! I agree that fragrance is unnecessary for a clay mask. Can you verify where this mask is made ? I have 2 sheet masks from a similar brand and in a very copycat packaging that are made in China and I’m weary of skincare products that come from China because they might contain heavy metals and other bad ingredients.

It’s made in China @sonnydee ! PRC stands for People’s Republic of China! If I were you I’d throw it away! Like I said, it might contain heavy metals and other toxic ingredients unintentionally in the diatomaceous earth, water, carbon black ( coloring agent ) etc... I had bought 2 sheet masks from the same parent company ( Global Beauty Care ) at a dollar store, so they were really cheap, I threw them away after I saw that they were made in China ! I had seen a documentary a while ago about skincare and makeup made in China and I didn’t like what I heard or saw ! Thanks for taking a picture of the back! 😉

Yea I saw that @keana1  I made sure I looked at the ingredients carefully (I just scan for alcohol) & they didnt look bad but I didnt think what could be in the DE. Not worth the what if so in my empties it goes. 😉

You never know what you can find in DE @sonnydee ! When I was a lifeguard we would use DE to filter the pools, so they can absorb nasty stuff! I wouldn’t want anyone to put DE on their skin unless the DE was pre-filtered itself!

DE food grade is also a insecticide. That's how I know about it @keana1. I didnt see that until after I put it on my face.

I don’t remember who posted about DE but I remember that it’s used as an insecticide as well @sonnydee ! Wouldn’t want this on my face! At least we both now know about it’s other uses !

@sonnydee your photo reminded me that I had a mask in this type of packaging.  I just checked and its from the same company.  It also has perfume, in this case as the last ingredient. After a quick google search my charcoal one seems to be chalk full of silicones.  I'm glad you brought up the ingredients because I likely would't have checked too closely myself otherwise.

Yea @missjeanie I've just been picky about the alcohol lately & want to limit the bad ones. It's been a big wake up call to see how much stuff bad alcohol is in🤪😳

@sonnydee I'm generally not too picky about ingredients, I know a few I'd like to avoid in large quantities, and a few I really like, but I honestly rarely know what the big words on the ingredient list are.  I had to google the back of this mask to see what was in it.  It just surprised me how many silicones were in there, and all so high up on the list.  I probably should start paying a bit more attention.  But after reading everyone else's comments I'm thinking maybe I should just pitch this mask.

It does seem weird for a mud mask to have fragrance, but I kinda think it's unnecessary to put fragrance in any mask! I hope you approve the final results! 😉👍
