Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe
Remove clay/difficult masks in the shower to keep towel clean and removal easy	itsfi/BIC
Use an HA serum prior to trying a mask with alcohol high on the ingredients list	keana1

July: @lmaster suggested a Crème Shop Sanrio Mask for our July 6th meetup, and you all voted for the My Melody Softer Than Cookies.

@ather I've got about 1-2 uses left of my Tatcha, it's such a beautiful mask, isn't it? I love how it looks, it's very soothing. I never notice much brightening but the color of it makes me so happy it's always a win 🙂

@eshoe  it felt so nice on! I agree I can’t say I saw any noticeable difference but it’s hard to tell. The colour and my skin feels so soft now it’s a win win!

Wednesday night masking

I used one of my favourite overnight mask which is the YTTP Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask ( I think it was @Shosh85 that tried it first and she enjoyed it so much that I had to buy it! ( She made me do it LOL 😆! ). The last 2 times I used this mask, I had to reapply another layer in the middle of the night so this time I applied a thick layer and it was just perfect! I woke up with hydrated, glowing skin. One of the ingredients in this mask is Prickly Pear, it contains vitamin E, oleic and linoleic acids which moisturize and has anti inflammatory properties. The Fresh Sugar Hydrating Lip Balm smells so yummy ! Just like lemon meringue pie! 😋🍋🥧 or lemon macarons !

@keana1 I'm pretty sure @eshoe was the first to buy and use this one, but I'll take the credit for enabling you! You enabled me to buy the Origins Drink Up Avocado and Swiss mask, so I think we're even! Haha! I'm so happy you're enjoying it! I feel like that jar will last forever! 🤗

The lemon lip balm is one of my new favorites from Fresh @faeriegirl ! The peach one has a very faint peach smell but I still love the formula and if you love coconut the coconut one smells like a tropical vacation! I didn’t get the caramel one, it smells too sweet, it feels like having a sugar overload!

I just ordered the lemonade lip school scrub by Sara Happ @keana1 I hope it smells as good as this one you used 😁

I almost ordered that @lmaster and thought, no, I am going to WAIT until I finish my lip scrub that needs to be finished. We'll see how long that lasts. Did you get the confetti one too?

@lmaster @eshoe, I ordered the lemonade one from Ulta - it's in a tube now. The one I have is in a jar. I have a couple of orders that came in while I was away; I thought I saw an Ulta box on my way in. I'll try to compare them this week or next.

@lmaster @itsfi had a LE version of the Sara Happ and I am so curious if this is the same or if it’s been reformulated.
