This looks like it took?
Honua Moana Mask: Detox market sample used 2x. Really liked. I expected it to be a little gritty but it went on luxuriously creamy. Hydrating and refreshing. Smells earthy but not strong. Washed off easy. I would buy this!
Kypris Glow Philtre: Detox market sample used 2x. Loved it. Will likely buy this when I get through things. It's like baby facials little sister to me, very usable on the regular, hydrate and glow. Results lasted about 2 days.
Herbivore Pineapple Brighten Enzyme Mask: Oldie in my rotation. It's okay, wouldn't repurchase. Don't see much glow from it, likely because I use more acid products and enzymes are much softer. Would be good for sensitive skin exfoliation. Slight citrus scent. It has crystals in it which sink so it's needs a good stir with each use.
Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask: Oldie and Goodie. Working through the supersize from last year. My skin doesn't play play nice with many BHA's so this and the regenerating cleanser are my BHA go to's to keep balance. BHA's target deeper oil producing cells and I'm dry and respond better to the surface turnover from AHA's.
@CC3616 I really loved the Kypris Glow Philtre as well! I may need to have a second round of it too! Happy to hear you enjoy it! ๐
Hmmmm I think I would like to try that Kypris @CC3616. Especially with results like that! Winter usually means dry skin for me, so now is the time.
N is for Naruko (NRK) ..... gifted to me from @itsfi ๐
Naruko Hydrolifting Intense Glow Hydrating Face Mask
This cotton sheet mask is so thin that I tore it a couple times just trying to adjust it on my face. It was saturated with serum and didn't have much of a scent - just a typical sheet mask smell. The fit was good - it was just a little too long at the chin. It adhered well and was comfortable to wear the half hour I had it on. The serum leftover was a little tacky, but it all absorbed in a matter of minutes. My face felt refreshed, comfortably hydrated and SO soft and smooth. There was a slight glow, but wouldn't consider it be "intense" like the mask claims.
The results turned out nice, and I'd use it again if it happened to fall into my lap, but because of the isopropyl alcohol I wouldn't repurchase. It isn't anywhere close to the top so it wasn't too bad ๐
Ingredients:
That doesn't sound too bad, @Shosh85 - it's a shame about the alcohol.
@quspork Yeah, I don't like when they sneak alcohol in there, but at least it's further down in the list with this one! My skin did well despite it so I can't complain too much.๐๐
@Shosh85 sounds like an overall pretty good mask.
@GalPalVal17 Exactly, overall it was a pretty good! - just woulda been better if they left the alcohol out ๐คทโโ๏ธ
@lmaster It turned out nice despite the alcohol ๐
@Shosh85 this sounds like a very interesting mask! I love very thin masks like this, and Iโm totally curious what the โcrispus extractโ is๐ค
@eshoe This was a nice one! From what I read, crispus extract is a type of seaweed. ๐
Oh thank you @Shosh85, I thought I had seen it somewhere before, good to know. My skin is pretty tolerant of alcohol but not of kelp so far. A good thing though since alcohol seems to be much more common in masks ๐
The PTR followed up by the Yadah sounds like a really nice combo, @Weetart.
@Weetart these are really nice jelly masks. I enjoy them as well. I keep telling myself I need to try that PTR pumpkin mask. It's the perfect season for it.
@Weetart Yadah definitely makes some great masks! Glad this was a good after-exfoliation soother! Amber knows a good mask when she sees one ๐
Amber deserves a little extra scritches for her assistance @Weetart, lucky you!
