Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface

The scent was not over the top at all. 

I've had Boxycarm (and upgraded to Boxylux) now for 4 months, and I've been more than satisfied with all but 1 box. In fact I've quite liked most of them.  There have been at least one thing in each that has not been particularly my style, but the rest makes up for it! That being said, my skincare journey only started really in January of this year (with a couple of Ordinary purchases in the fall), so pretty much *everything* is new for me. Despite the journey being new, I am quickly figuring out what works better for me than other things...but I haven't 'tried it all'. DS or trial sizes are great!! Along with that, I only used drugstore brand makeup before January, so most unique and expensive makeup brands are new.  Therefore, everything I've received in boxy has been new (tho not always the colours I'd prefer when it comes to makeup).  I've posted all my boxycharm boxes on the subscriptions thread, if you want to see what came for me these last 4 months. Currently I'm finding it fun to try to find things I like, and I am not afraid to stop using something I'm not fond of.  But the skincare has been piling up....

But it really does tickle me to to try new things.  Why haven't I cared about skincare before? Well, at least I've started. 😊 @eshoe

That’s a fun way to start branching out (sub box), especially if you’re open to trying new stuff and your skin isn’t overly sensitive @l8totheparty. My skin is pretty tolerant, thank goodness!  

Its a fun journey, and the feedback/advice here has been beneficial in helping me tweak things around to better my routine. Happy to share it:)

I got the Dr. Brandt probiotic cleanser in a previous boxycharm, and I love it. I use it every morning. I couldn't wait for the mask 😊 First time to use it and it didn't disappoint.

More masking cuteness from Look At Me. I used the Guacamole one yesterday (still catching up on posting). This was so very kindly gifted to me by both @l8totheparty and @faeriegirl. Now that I've tried it, I'm very happy that I have one more to use because I really like it and hadn't been able to find it locally or online. 

As much as I love guacamole, I was thankful that it didn't smell of guacamole. Instead, I detected a clean, floral/fruity scent that was quite pleasant. It's a tencel mask, and it was comfortable to wear and contained a nice amount of extra serum. I kept it on for around 25 minutes. It's so interesting, because I'm finding the fit on each of the look at me masks to be a bit different. This one fit a bit better than the collagen one, although I did need to snip along the eyes a bit because the nose bridge was too wide. It also didn't completely cover the top of my forehead (around half an inch to an inch was showing). 

It was very enjoyable to wear, and the main effect that I observed was softened/hydrated skin. Again, thank you very much @faeriegirl and @l8totheparty! I really enjoyed this one.

Completely agree with you @PrettyPaint - love guacamole but I wouldn't want my sheet mask to smell like it. 😉 I'm catching up on reading everyone's reviews on the thread; lots of Look At Me masks this week and whenever I see this one, it makes me want chips, salsa and guacamole. 🙂
