Thank you @lmaster! ๐ค I only recently tried an actual fig, maybe a year or two ago. Before that all I knew of the fig was the Newton! ๐ I wish there was a way for me to send you some to try, without them spoiling in transport.
Awwww that's so sweet @itsfi I appreciate the thought ๐
@itsfi Oh how cool! I don't think I've seen a fig mask before, but figs are such a neat fruit (love them). That's interesting about the "essence" versus "watery" type designation.
@PrettyPaint the first time I had fresh figs was a couple of years ago - I know! Where have I been?!! ๐ Theyโre good and I was excited when I saw this fig mask! Iโll have to try to take photos to compare the different types of serum in this line. Iโm liking the fact that the packaging lets you know which type the mask has.
@itsfi Yes, I'm glad you mentioned that about the various designations because I wouldn't have noticed it otherwise! If you do notice a difference in the different formulations, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
Definitely @PrettyPaint! Iโll go through my stash and pull out the Innisfree masks I have from this line. Iโm pretty sure I have one of each type of essence; ๐ if not, thereโs an Innisfree store thatโs less than half an hour from me. ๐ I probably wonโt get around to using them this week, but will see about incorporating them into the routine in the next few weeks.
@itsfi Speaking of innisfree, I've been meaning to ask you. Do you happen to have any favorites from the products newly available at sephora? No rush, but just curious. They don't have any sheet masks at sephora that I see, but I was looking at their "my lip balm" and some of the products from their green tea line. Thanks ๐
Sounds great @itsfi. No rush, of course! I know you had mentioned that you'll be doing snail September if I'm remembering correctly, so definitely no pressure to use any additional sheet masks!
@itsfi You definitely don't see too many fig masks out there! This sounds so nice. I kinda wish more masks would specify what kind of serum it had - it's nice to have an idea of what to expect. I'm happy you enjoyed it! ๐
Me too @Shosh85! Itโs been helpful seeing the type of serum noted on the packaging of the new masks in this line. It makes me wonder if I should be organizing my masks by serum type as well...
This is such a beautiful photo @itsfi. I ldon't use sheet masks very often but I love figs so this might be something I would try sometime.
@Anonymous, this Innisfree line of masks is a pretty good line to start masking with. The line has three different types of serum (water, essence and cream) that vary with the โflavorโ of the mask. One thing to note with these if you are sensitive to alcohol or if you prefer not to have it in your mask is that some, but not, all of the masks in the line contain alcohol pretty high up on the ingredients list so youโll want to check the ingredients list first.
Mm, love fresh figs! @itsfi Glad this mask had great effects.
Yes @l8totheparty, thereโs just something about fresh figs. Yum!! ๐
I is for Increase elasticity.
Yesterday I used Look at Me collagen face mask. It was a thin tencel sheet that was dripping with essence. It had a nice light floral scent. The fit on this one was a bit off so I had to make adjustments around the eyes and mouth. I left it on for 25 minutes and there was still a lot of serum left to massage into my face, neck, and arms. It was a little tacky at first but absorbed in less than 5 minutes. My face definitely felt hydrated and my forehead lines did look a bit better. I will definitely use this one again. A- due to the fit.
@faeriegirl Too bad the fit wasn't that great, but glad it had good results. Was the fit the same as other "look at me" masks or was it different? Also, that pig on the packaging looks so happy/content.
@PrettyPaint The fit on the other look at me masks Iโve tried is better.
@faeriegirl Glad to hear this is another good one! They sure know how to lure you in with those cute characters on the packaging. ๐ท I'm excited to try this one! I'm happy you enjoyed it! ๐
@faeriegirl - what a cute little piggy on that mask. These seem to have such fun packaging.
Hope this one lands in my Winners eventually! @faeriegirl
