Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Spoiler

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe
Remove clay/difficult masks in the shower to keep towel clean and removal easy	itsfi/BIC
Use an HA serum prior to trying a mask with alcohol high on the ingredients list	keana1
Use a Makeup Eraser to remove wash-off masks	lmaster

June: Bawdy Butt Mask Month. Let's try all four masks, one a Saturday (Thank you @faeriegirl!) On the 22nd we will also be trying out a Yadah mask - your pick, thanks to @ShortErica. 
July: @lmaster suggested a Crème Shop Sanrio Mask for our July 6th meetup, and you all voted for the My Melody Softer Than Cookies.

Holiday sets are my downfall @eshoe !  or maybe they're my true loves? lol. I've done pretty good with only purchasing from Sephora during the Spring sale so far.  And I've only had one Ulta purchase during spring break down south.  It's Winners and TJ's this year that have all my money.  I need to slow down a bit though, need to use some stuff up so that I have room for all those glorious holiday sets!  That's what triggered last years low buy, the need to use some things up!

It’s a starting point at least, @missjeanie. I’ve learned from sheet masks that brands differ across lines, why wouldn’t brands in general differ in effectiveness across products?

not a dueling mask session or a z mask but I had to use this wonderful whole foods mask the generous @itsfi sent to me! thank you so much!! I hoard these whole foods masks because I don't have a store anywhere near me, and my trust with Amazon has been compromised, so when I get these, I just want to hang in to them,, but now I have a couple in the stash,I feel safe to use one 😂 whole foods cleansing tea tree scent would remind me of such a name, not floral or fruity or strong scented at all, the mask shown in the middle is sandwiched between these two protective films. very thin biocellulose mask, I applied this lovely baby and left it on for 20 minutes, after removing the mask, my skin felt wonderfully hydrated and lightly moisturized. and nourished,, these are a love for life type of mask A+++
