@eshoe I don't understand why your cocoa beads won't pop!! Mine always do ๐ค ok when you find something marshmallow and peppermint please tag me... That sounds amazing and I definitely would love to try a mask like that!!
They turn brown in the sink @lmaster, Iโve tried massaging water on my face, rubbing them for a solid minute, nada. Thatโs fine, the scent is amazing so I donโt mind:)
That is crazy @eshoe but yes the scent is delicious ๐
@itsfi I haven't tried too many AP products, but this one sounds wonderful! I'm definitely putting this on the "sooner than later" list! ๐
Too bad the Nature Republic mask wasn't too impressive. I really like the two piece mask and the scent sounds great! I'm glad it wasn't a total flop! ๐
@Shosh85, the AP peel has been really great for keeping the breakouts I get periodically under control. I think my feelings on the Nature Republic suffers from my having used so many masks - it's a decent enough mask but having used a lot of mask, I know there are other masks that are just as good, if not better, at the same or better price point.
@itsfi @lmaster I think I noticed that it could be used as an eye balm after searching for an eye cream that would help when my skin was hurting. Sephora had it marked as an eye cream and when I checked the DE site they said it could be used that way. I don't do it all the time, but I've even rubbed the balm on my entire face after some -45 degree windburn issues. Such a nice way to have multi uses for the product. I'm so glad you tried it out and it worked out okay!
I believe it says it on the tube as well, @missjeanie - I've tried it and it's quite nice (any easy-peasy for lazy days ๐ )
I just had mine out tonight @eshoe , so easy to keep on hand and apply without any mess!
@missjeanie that's great you seen that info and passed your knowledge on ๐
I was really surprised by the AP mask being moisturizing on my skin @lmaster! ๐ @missjeanie's idea for the DE lippe balm is brilliant! โค๏ธ
Love @sonnydeeโs recommendation on the AP mask @itsfi. I noticed itโs included in the 500 pt.. reward, mighty tempting!
After Sephoraโs Rose Mask, Nature Republic was my go-to mask for a good year. I have one left, should use it tomorrow. Itโs cotton, not like the hydro gel you tried, but also fits the โmmmm-okay itโs good for nowโ category nicely;)
I've gone back and forth a couple of times whether I should pick up that 500-point AP reward @eshoe, and end up passing on it. I'm saving my points to pick up the $100 Rouge reward - there are a couple of more splurge-y masks that I may use the reward to pick up. ๐
I wonder if the reward can be used with the upcoming sale @itsfi. I've been debating one of the rewards, if they could be combined that would be amazing.
Wednesday masking was one kindly sent to me by @eshoe. The Peach Slices Hydrate mask is for "bic made me do it". I actually saw this when I was away and grabbed two more before I even tried this one. eshoe mentioned that it was a great mask for when you don't want to think about masking and that's exactly how I used it! I just wanted to toss something on yesterday and not put too much into it. There was no scent to this, it fit nicely, had quite a bit of leftover serum (I did a layer on my whole body). I left it on for about 20 minutes and it was starting to dry up a bit so I removed and continued on with skincare and make up (that's right... I did a morning mask!). My skin looked nice after this, more awake. Will for sure use again as a "don't want to think about it" mask.
Tonight's use of the Consonant DHE mask was "bic made me do it" since it was sent to me by BIC! This mud mask goes on in a thin layer, and dries down, but doesn't feel tight. My skin feels soft after using and while I didn't have a lot of clogged skin at the moment, it also felt very clean.
I followed up with an N mask in the Nourishing Coconut Sheet Mask from Farmskin. This was a part of my 'masking salad kit' I picked up last week. It has an AMAZING coconut scent to it, a creamy serum (and lots of it). The fit is a touch on the smaller side, and I did do a few little snips to make it conform to my face better, but I'm not bothered by that. I had it on for about a half hour, maybe a touch longer and the remaining serum on my skin massaged in fairly quickly, with no tackyness, but a nice bit of hydration remained. I likely could have skipped my night time moisturizer, but I didn't want to chance it. My skin looked great going to bed tonight lol, clean, bouncy, bright and hydrated. I'd use this one again without thinking twice. So far the salad kit is a winner pick up from Winners!
@missjeanie I'm happy these all worked out so well! I really like the Peach Slices brand, and own most of the ones from this line, but still haven't tried them yet! I think I'll have to start with this Hydrate one โ it sounds so good! ๐
That's great the salad kit masks have turned out nice so far! This coconut one seems like one I'd love โ it sounds wonderful! I'm glad you enjoyed everything! ๐๐
Be careful opening this one @Shosh85 , the serum is quite thin, but it was such an easy mask to toss on and not think about. Perfect for the morning when I'm barely awake!
I'd use this mask again for the scent alone @lmaster so yummy!
