Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni

I have a question about Ren Evercalm mask an who betteryoask than Mask Divas here 😊 

I tried that mask (couple of weeks ago) and it was opposite of calming ! Given that I tried it when my skin was already pretty irritated from initial Retinol use. But that is the whole point, I was trying to calm and hydrate it but this mask was burning and made my face more irritated/redder. Should I give it another try?

Thank You @ShortErica  @Kim888  @yankeefaithful  @eshoe  for your inputs. I have not returned an opened product before. My SA was saying just bring it back. I am almost tempted to exchange it for the YTTP Superberry mask as that might be more hydrating. Or maybe I'll try the Ren calming balm rather than this. 

@lmaster  Is this hydrating for you? Or do you any other more hydrating mask that you would recommend? I am just thinking if I should replace it with something else.

I've been using the REN the day after the Passioni without any issues, I'm guessing it's your skin @naturalooks15  😞 I have the YTTP Superberry and LOVE LOVE LOVE it, very moisturizing.

@eshoe  I didn't try it after that initial episode. My skin now is pretty calm and stable but my point id if it didn't help with the kid of issues, it's supposed to rather irritated more, why not get something else. And you post here just convinced me to exchange it for the Superberry mask 🙂

@naturalooks15, @Shosh85 uses it as well and I think we both share a lot of 💗 for it! I don’t see any acids in it save for HA, hopefully it will bring some needed soothing to your skin.

@naturalooks15 I have really loved using the Superberry Mask! I have dry-dehydrated skin and I'd have to say it's the best moisturizing sleeping mask I've used!

I'm happy to hear your skin is stable now! 👍

@naturalooks15   I agree with @Kim888  that the Ren mask doesn't do much for me. I've found I get great results from Origin's Hello Calm when I get over zealous with exfoliation. Sorry you're having irritation from Retinol! Your skin just needs some TLC!! I hope it recovers soon!!😔

@naturalooks15  oh no! I'm sorry it didn't work out for you! I didn't find it irratating but I didn't find it particularly calming either - it was just kind of there for me. However, when I am super irritated from retinol use, I find a lot of things feel different and harsher so that could be it. I did find ren's overnight recover balm a better fit for calming my skin than the mask though.

I debated going for another snail mask, but decided my skin wanted the Helloskin Jumiso Rich-Nourishment sheet mask.  This mask was a gift from the lovely @itsfi and nourishment sounded like exactly what I needed after snow-blowing the driveway in the cold today!  The mask had a mesh backing and there was a light herbal scent, i mean really light... I had to put my nose right into the packet to smell it.  I left the mask on for a good 45 minutes, I honestly kind of forgot it was on and just got caught up in what I was watching on tv.  It was just starting to dry up around that 45 minute mark and the mask actually was drying up quite evenly where I normally dry in the nose area first.  After I took the mask off I patted some of the extra in the pouch over my face as well as my arms, legs, entire torso... there was a lot of extra serum!  My face is still quite tacky now about an hour after removal.  I haven't added any moisturizer yet, I will, but I probably could go without with how hydrated my skin is right now.  My skin looks nice and plump, clear and bright.  I'd give this mask an A, because I'm not bothered by tackiness, but if that's something you don't like, you'll need to moisturize for sure.
