Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe

@eshoe you're making me regret not getting some hurraw in my detox order last night! I was hesitant to pull the trigger because of sensitive lips. I laughed out loud at "forgot to use it shopping online" because that's so me, and your mini's masking steps are too adorable!

@CC3616 it was a bummer too, because I really like that Farmacy mask😆 But I am planning a sheet mask purchase and got pulled in with all the pretty packaging:)

I am also trying to decide between the Mahalo Petal mask and Jo Malone Red Roses...if I go with the mask I am going to pick up another of the Hurraw! balms:)

@eshoeCan't wait to see your sheet mask haul! Have you tried petal? I got a sample of it last night with my order. I thought I got samples a couple weeks ago but they never showed up and nothing was on PayPal when I went back to look, I must have been distracted by something shiny 😉 It worked out though because I ended up making a purchase. I'm not a perfume gal but I do know the JM are super nice.. Either would be a great treat!

I tried the petal a few nights ago and fell in 💗 @CC3616! Not sure if you meant you’re just not into perfumes or don’t like scents, but the petal mask has a pretty strong scent. Hope it’s just perfumes!

@eshoe Thanks for the heads up, hopefully it'll be okay. I'm not into perfume but usually strong scents are okay as long as they are natural in origin. Anything chemical/fake is an insta-migraine!

Not at all @missjeanie, it was more of the typical ‘sheet mask’ scent, I was kinda hoping for coffee!

That Americano Mask packaging looks so  good! I've noticed with these multiple-step masks, that some of the steps just seem silly or unnecessary. At least the mask itself was fine!

I have yet to try that Black Tea mask – but I've heard a lot people say they love it! You've sparked my curiosity though.... why do you grade it as a "B?" ETA: I just clicked on it.... is it the price? 😂😂🤣

Thank you so much for your thoughts on that Americano mask @eshoe! I haven’t used mine yet (and didn’t realize it was a 3-parter until your review! LOL! 😆). If you were to use it again, would you skip Step 3, or maybe both Steps 1 and 3? Love Hurraw! lip balms! 💖 I have 2 more that should be arriving this week. 😃

Step 1 wasn’t really an essence, felt more like a sheet mask serum, which could be skipped or patted onto the sheet mask @itsfi ...step 3 and the baby oil scent definitely deserves a waiver 😂 Step 2 was good though! Not great and could have been a B but everything else pulled it down to a C.

Yes, I think she’s caught on to the rhythm of masking😉

Tonights masking-the Tata has quartz so minerals✅ and the lip mask I choose is loaded with vitamins✅ I admit I bought these lip masks cause they were pretty 💖 glitter ok. I like it!😋 I went into masking tonight knowing tata h products dont smell good. And this was no different. Very earthy even a touch stale like a attic. But I knew already so it was tolerable. The foil barely covered my face but I did it with a thin layer. I left it on for about 25 min (it was supposed to be 10-15) but I'm lazy. 😊 It doesn't dry down & you wet your hands to move the quartz around for exfoliation. That was nice but if your sensitive you may find it a little harsh. My face felt smooth and a blemished area I have under my chin felt smoother & looked less angry. I think I have at least one more foil so I'll try it again..the lip mask did have a smell to it & it was not pleasant not plasticky but maybe a lil chemically? it was hard to pin point. They were slimy but it did stay on my lips & I was able to talk a little ...more mumble if I had to. You leave it on for 15 minutes & my lips did feel moisturized but it didnt last long. after about an hour I was looking for something else to.put on my lips. The lip mask would be graded a C. I'll use the rest in the pack but probably wont repurchase due to smell/lack of effect long term. Not even a night!😒

Thanks for your thoughts on that tata mask @sonnydee! It's probably not something I could use. I don't remember which product I used from the brand but had a bad reaction so I usually stay away now.
