Spring Fling - Baskets and bouquets, showers of much-anticipated rain...this month's focus is herbal and floral sensory delights ๐ฎ
January | Fresh Starts - Time for a re-set, or morning masking? However you see it, this month is all about new beginnings. |
February | Winter Love - Whether it's a mask you adore, or something extra-special to care for dry winter skin, this month is for some soothing TLC. |
March | March Madness - Competition is in the air! Find a $ dupe of a $$$ mask that is share-worthy? Or find a dupe that works even better than the original? Details, please! |
April | Spring Fling - Baskets and bouquets, showers of much-anticipated rain...this month's focus is herbal and floral sensory delights. |
May | Dew Drops - May Day lore says to wash your face in the dew you collect in the morning of the first day of May for radiant skin. This month is for absorbing all of that good-for-you H2O. |
June | Summer Sunshine - Ice cream, sunglasses, SPF, check! Once the sun is down (or before it's up), extra care is most necessary. How do you give your skin cooling repair? |

Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread, and giving us a place to share our love for masks๐
Yeahy for a winner! @lmaster ooh this sounds kinda yummy, I was reading through the ingredients and it's so nice, fruit first and squalane in there, I hope other 2 are just as good for you ๐
Of course I was drawn in by the fruit, ๐ I'm always so hopeful for a delicious scent, but it was a fabulous mask @CynthieLu even with the good scent ๐
I went with the Bliss Rose Gold Rescue foil sheet mask and this was definitely NOT a winner. The mask itself is a little on the thick side due to the gold foil detail and because of that foiled material it wasn't very bendable or pliable and didn't fit well or contour to my face properly. Honestly, I had the patience to wear it for about five minutes and gave up because it was actually rather uncomfortable.
*And yes, my hair is wet because I applied it after I showered.
Despite the fit being a major downer, @CookieGirl1, this sure is pretty on you! Foil masks tend to have rather poor fits, in my experience ๐
If it had fit, that would have looked so cool ๐ @CookieGirl1 sorry you had a non winning experience with this one
@CynthieLu oh well, no big loss.
@CookieGirl1 what a let down, its such a pretty mask too
@lmaster it did look kinda cool.
@CookieGirl1 @Sorry to hear it didnโt work well for you !
@Kim888 ehhh, no biggie. It looked cute for the five minutes I had it on, I guess.
Too bad this was so ill suited for you @CookieGirl1. The illustration on the packaging makes it look like it would be a 2-piece mask. I wonder if that would have made for a better fit, or if you made it a 2-piece mask yourself. Sorry it didn't work out for you.
@itsfi It actually was a two-piece mask but that didn't change how poorly it fit.
Not on theme but Iโm working through masks that expire soon! I did the clay mask first and wanted to add hydration after. TJ clay mask I left on for around 10 minutes and the Cica mask I left on for 30 minutes! I always use the clay mask when I am breaking out and it helps dry them out. It works so good! I love it. The Cica mask was large which is good for me I just press the extras down where they lay. I felt nice and hydrated after.
โ
I love that Heimish mask, @ather. Always good to have a couple of those around for masking mayhem ๐ Or just for some extra soothing, like you did ๐ I had that TJ's mask and have never opened it. Did it dry down at all?
@eshoe It does dry down. I try and take it off before it drys down to much. It does dry my skin a bit too but thatโs what a good hydrating mask is for!!
Hear, hear, @ather! I have tried that technique in the past but *kind of* over did it. A double masking like this sounds very reasonable (not to mention, smart!).
Okay, I never have ever considered double masking. Wow. Mind. Blown ๐คฏ that makes so much good sense.
@ather I read this yesterday, I decided to exfoliate ( rarely do I ever with my skin type) but I followed up with a ceramide mask and it was so soothing. I would have normaly just done basic skin care and let my skin calm down but this was so much nicer, thanks for the inspiration โ๐โ I didn't use a mask to exfoliate (I have a few i'm just nervous to use lol)
@CynthieLu Yay! Iโm glad I could inspire you!! I love multi masking but I donโt always have the time. I definitely use a moisture mask after using an acid or an exfoliating item. I have such dry skin if I donโt I peel and shed bad. I have a bad spot right now from using acne products. Hopefully you can discover lots of masking combinations!
Never seen that one! Looks awesome @ather
@lmaster Both were sooo good!
I love the heimish masks as well @ather ! Glad it worked for you !
