This year is going to be a little different - simplified. Easy. Every month will have a new theme, and that's it. Feel free to join in whenever and wherever. Most importantly - have fun!

Spring Fling - Baskets and bouquets, showers of much-anticipated rain...this month's focus is herbal and floral sensory delights 💮

February	Winter Love - Whether it's a mask you adore, or something extra-special to care for dry winter skin, this month is for some soothing TLC.
March	March Madness - Competition is in the air! Find a $ dupe of a $$$ mask that is share-worthy? Or find a dupe that works even better than the original? Details, please!

May	Dew Drops - May Day lore says to wash your face in the dew you collect in the morning of the first day of May for radiant skin. This month is for absorbing all of that good-for-you H2O.

Hahaha, that’s why he’s won multiple Oscars @Shosh85. He can switch up his like for caviar. 😆 Wait a sec, did he actually eat the caviar in You’ve Got Mail or did he just scoop it up to upset Meg Ryan’s character? hmm… 🤔

@itsfi  Great duel!! I can’t say I’ve ever had caviar or used a mask containing it. It is an odd skincare ingredient but I wouldn’t be opposed to using it!!!  That vital proteins packet is it new? I don’t think I’ve seen that flavour before. They have one with caffeine in it that was quite lovely.

@ather, I think I received this hibiscus flavored Vital Proteins as a gift, but I’ve seen it in a sample set. Oh, there’s one with caffeine in it? Making a note to look for it. 😃

T is for Tea

This so the brightening skin tea time mask 

Like it’s name, it does smell pleasantly of lemon tea. The mask itself was a soft cotton with a creamy looking serum. The fit was overall good, though a bit short. 

The mask had a bit of a cooling sensation while on and my face did feel hydrated and plumped after I used it. 

Unfortunately, this mask was extremely tacky after use. Finally, after an hour I ended up just washing my face because the serum never absorbed. 

I probably wouldn’t use again because I hate tacky residue after; disappointing because the mask itself was nice!

Extremely tacky might be a little too much for my liking, @Kim888. Although the lemony tea scent sounds quite pleasant!

@Kim888  Oh, that's too bad the serum didn't absorb well - sounds like it'd be a perfect mask otherwise! Both the scent and the serum sound great!😃

Whoa @Kim888, still tacky after an hour?! Do you think the tack would go away or at least be toned down if you followed up with a moisturizer or the rest of your skincare?

@itsfi @I did try that but it did not interact with well with the moisturizer I used and ended up being super thick and sticky. I did use the belief one so maybe a thicker cream and not a gel like one would have worked

I had to jump on here for my favorite theme! The odd ingredient for today is Salmon Egg extract. 🐟

Foreverskin Salmon Soothing Mask

Material:

Thin cotton

Serum:

Clear, slightly viscous

Scent:

Typical sheet mask scent

Fit:

Great fit and super comfortable- just a little long at the chin

Wear Time:

Half hour

Tack:

Light tack that stuck around for about a half hour

Results:

Soft and smooth skin that was lightly hydrated and noticeably brighter.

Repurchase?

This one was nice and I'd definitely use again, but because the whitening version had the same great results without the alcohol, I'd be more likely to just pick up that one.

I proposed this one to my husband as one we should pick up next and his response was that we should just go all out and have a whole salmon meal out of it. I'm not sure I'm on board with having salmon eggs but the mask, yes.

@lmaster Yeah, I'm not a big fan of alcohol in skincare, especially when it's that high up in the ingredients - I also don't feel like alcohol belongs in anything that's marketed as "soothing" 🤷🏻‍
