Welcome to the 2024 Masking Challenge!
This year is going to be a little different - simplified. Easy. Every month will have a new theme, and that's it. Feel free to join in whenever and wherever. Most importantly - have fun!
Spring Fling - Baskets and bouquets, showers of much-anticipated rain...this month's focus is herbal and floral sensory delights ๐ฎ
January | Fresh Starts - Time for a re-set, or morning masking? However you see it, this month is all about new beginnings. |
February | Winter Love - Whether it's a mask you adore, or something extra-special to care for dry winter skin, this month is for some soothing TLC. |
March | March Madness - Competition is in the air! Find a $ dupe of a $$$ mask that is share-worthy? Or find a dupe that works even better than the original? Details, please! |
April | Spring Fling - Baskets and bouquets, showers of much-anticipated rain...this month's focus is herbal and floral sensory delights. |
May | Dew Drops - May Day lore says to wash your face in the dew you collect in the morning of the first day of May for radiant skin. This month is for absorbing all of that good-for-you H2O. |
June | Summer Sunshine - Ice cream, sunglasses, SPF, check! Once the sun is down (or before it's up), extra care is most necessary. How do you give your skin cooling repair? |

Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread, and giving us a place to share our love for masks๐
The scrub sounds heavenly.
@elleb810 It's really great ๐ a bit pricey for a hand scrub but well worth it, in my opinion
omg, that unicorn sheet mask looks good.
@erikarosenim Highly recommend.
@QueenMarceline I had read your post about your pet rat dying. Itโs so sad to loose a pet. And as if that was not enough you lost a dear friend. Double the loss ๐ข. My condolences. Thatโs a deep sorrowful place to be in. Your advice is spot on. You had a great spa day before all of that happened. Thank you for your great reviews. My prayers are with you ๐๐ป๐๐๐ป
@Cissy63 Thank you so much, I really appreciate your sweet words and prayers โค๏ธ
@QueenMarceline Aw Iโm so so sorry to hear about both your friend and your furry ball of love. Nah โthe placeโ to let things out it is wherever you feel comfortable enough to do so, so thank you for making that here. Big hugs to you.
@heartsmyface Thank you so much for your kind response โค๏ธ Hugs.
@QueenMarceline I am sorry to hear about your losses. *Hugs*
@Mellmars1185 Thank you โค๏ธ
@QueenMarceline I'm so sorry for your losses. I don't mind you mentioning them at all. While it is a happy place, I also see it as a safe place and everyone as my family.
I'm glad you posted the Deborah Lippmann Marshmallow Whipped Hand & Cuticle Scrub package because I just got it in the mail and it is stunning to look at!
@Samtian Thank you โค๏ธ I thought it was an important message to share on here as this is a high-volume of female community members site.
The Deb Lippmann Marshmallow is honestly amazing. I wish they made it in a hand cream but for that I love my Deborah Lippmann Rich Girl - Broad Spectrum SPF 25 Hand Cream
@QueenMarceline, Iโm sorry for your losses.
My deepest sympathies!! @QueenMarceline

Today is National Vitamin C Day, so even though this is from last week, I am posting today in celebration ๐
Leahlani Meli Glow is a repeat. It is a rich, sweet raw honey mask packed with vitamin C, tropical fruit enzymes and hyaluronic acid. This is one mask that is so enjoyable to wear, that I find myself making excuses not to remove it.
Ingredients:
*HONEY (RAW HAWAIIAN), KAOLIN (ROSE CLAY), ROSE CANINA (ROSEHIPS), SODIUM HYALURONATE (HYALURONIC ACID), HELIANTHUS ANNUS (SUNFLOWER) SEED OIL, EUTERPE OLERACEA (ACAI) FRUIT OIL, *PASSIFLORA EDULIS (PASSIONFRUIT) SEED OIL, CARICA PAPAYA (PAPAYA) SEED OIL, **FRAGARIA VESCA (STRAWBERRY) FRUIT EXTRACT, TETRAHEXYLDECYL ASCORBATE (VITAMIN C ESTER), **PSIDIUM GUAJAVA (GUAVA) FRUIT EXTRACT, LEUCONOSTOC FERMENT FILTRATE, AQUA, MUSA SAPIENTUM (BANANA) FRUIT EXTRACT, **CITRUS PARADISI (GRAPEFRUIT) FRUIT EXTRACT, **AVERRHOA CARAMBOLA (STARFRUIT) FRUIT EXTRACT, CLAY (KAOLIN), ***PARFUM, ASCORBIC ACID, TOCOPHEROL
*ORGANIC **WILDCRAFTED ***PROPRIETARY BLEND OF 100% NATURAL ESSENTIAL OILS, FRUIT AND PLANT EXTRACTS.
The Missha Vita C Plus Ascorbic Acid Spot Removal Sheet Mask had a sweet lemony scent when I opened the packet. The silky soft, comfortable and well-fitting mask had ample eye openings and adhered beautifully. The serum was semi-opaque, slightly milky and was so abundant that I was able to reapply twice throughout the 45 minutes I wore it. After removing, my skin was only slightly tacky. Although I did not notice an immediate reduction in dark spots, I wonder how effective this would be if used 1-2x per week over a longer time period. It is one I would definitely repurchase, especially to test its intended use for actual results.
The Kaja Balmy Bento Lip Balm + Scrub Piรฑa Colada has a yummy pineapple lip scrub in the bottom jar, with a coconut (unscented to me) balm on top. I am working my way through this faster than many other scrubs, because it is such a treat to use!
Ingredients:
that tray is very cute.
Thank you, @erikarosenim. I enjoy it especially as it does not require watering ๐
