Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread and giving us a place to share our love for masks💗 Below is the 2020 schedule. Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. 

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Most importantly, have fun and merry masking!

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Spoiler

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe
Remove clay/difficult masks in the shower to keep towel clean and removal easy	itsfi/BIC

I've never used a mud sheet mask! Good to know that this one takes forever, @mrsmouse! The eye mask is so pretty and fun!

That origins mask is my favorite overnight cream mask too! So hydrating!!! Love it getting hype on the thread.

I have another version of this mud mask, and it is neat. Less mess than mud in a tube. It works pretty well as well 😊 @haleyvvvv

I don't mind mud/clay at home, and I usually only use sheet masks while traveling, so having a mud one for long trips would be nice. I feel that sometimes I dont get to deep clean my pores when I have a week or two week work trip. I'll be on the lookout! Thanks @l8totheparty!

@mrsmouse I’ve totally been using those JJ Young masks wrong. 20 minutes and I’m done! Good for you for trying, the idea of it is brilliant; no mess clay. 

The Origins has such a lovely scent!

Did it work with only 20 minutes @eshoe?  Maybe I should just go with that.  I usually mask before bed & often don't get started early enough for an hour mask + the time it takes for my regular routine.

I have no idea, @mrsmouse - I was just grateful to not have to remove a clay mask. I realize I am not using it correctly when I use it like that, so there is that. There was no true transfer of clay from the mask to my face, it just kinda rested there🤷🏻‍♀️

Oh yes, I enjoy that Origins Drink up intensive as well, @mrsmouse . I'm not sure how I feel about a half-face mask, but, as @Shosh85 says, it has its benefits.

@mrsmouse  I agree, that Origins mask is wonderful! I'd have to say it's my most favorite overnight mask too! 😉👍 I'm already almost finished with my second tube of it 👌

Love those Creme Shop Eye Masks! You look fabulous in this one! My favorite is the Caffeine one that smells like chocolate 🍫 😋 The size of it has actually come in handy for me - I had a bad reaction on my chin/jawline from a product I tried once and these made it easy for me to still mask but avoid that area....... plus it just makes it that much easier to mask and eat. 😆 I seem to always get hungry right after I put mask on 🤔😂

I'm still working on my first tube of the Origins mask, but I've already picked up a backup @Shosh85.  😉 

I don't think I have the caffeine eye one from TCS, but I'm going to check.  There were 3 other in the pack, so maybe it's there.  I don't know, the size of the "eye mask" just seemed strange to me; not bad, just weird and particularly so for a brightening mask.  I mean do I only want 60% of my face to be bright?  But I guess it did cover the areas that I normally need that brightness the most, so maybe.  I usually mask shortly before bed, so I'm typically not hungry, but I do get thirsty and can see how there would be an advantage to having the shortened mask for drinking/eating.  I'll use the other three, but unless there's a stellar performer in there, or I'm having the girl's over for a night in, I likely won't repurchase.

@mrsmouse  I think the ones you have and the ones I've used are from different lines, but the masks themselves look the same. This👇 is the one I like to use, but that might mostly be because it smells like chocolate 🍫😂

Mmmmmm, chocolate!  I can certainly get behind a mask that smells like chocolate @Shosh85!  They do look almost exactly the same.  Mine are just recently expired (smelled fine, though not like chocolate) so maybe you have the updated version?

@mrsmouse  I thought that at first too, but they're all called something different. I also noticed that the ingredients are totally different as well. I can't remember what ingredient I saw in the masks you have, but there was something I didn't like, (I'm guessing either parabens or alcohol) and decided to pass on them. I'm not totally against using masks with those ingredients, but I do try and avoid them when I can 😉 I guess it's possible they just totally revamped them all 🤔
